Some fields "start" in the PGY-2 and spots are given out in the match --
radiology, derm, anesthesia (some), etc. These are "advanced" matches, and
you would be best off applying again in the NRMP match. This would create a
gap year -- this year's match for these positions are for a July 2011 start.
If you're talking about an IM PGY-2, then all of those spots are outside the
