发帖数: 262 | 2 categorical is a "full" residency progrm - from the 1st year (PGY-1) all the
way to the end.
advanced is from the 2nd year (PGY-2), no 1st year (PGY-1),
preliminary is only the 1st year (PGY-1),
so if you apply for an advanced program, you also have to find a preliminary
program.
When you apply for perliminary, you have an option to indicate the subject
of your advanced application.
