原来一直想跟个团购的，看到隔壁NJ有人组织，但是到NY要收shipping fee。而且那边
进展比较慢，索性决定自己来组织一个。
昨天电话联系了一下曼哈顿岛上的Yamaha官方授权的dealer —— Faust Harrison
Pianos，问了yamaha U1的价格，但是dealer说电话里不能报价，索性今天干脆跑去了
一趟，和dealer谈好了，10人以上起团。
费了半天嘴皮子，敲定价格，比我预想的要好一些，比年初优惠，甚至比去年的一个团
购还要便宜200刀（不知道真假，dealer拿着说是系统里打印出来一个invoice给我看了
看）。
基本信息如下，我会继续和dealer敲定细节。
Yamaha U1 （目前只谈了这个，其他型号应该也行）给最优惠价格（按照dealer要求，

1000w, you have 20% chance to get it and 80% to get 4w for 10years, thus the
expectation is 1000 * 20% +
40 * 80%, roughly 230w, or roughly 200w.
however, there is 80% chance you can't get this 1000w, but getting the 40w.
more accurately, you are asking yourself this following question?
even though the expectation to of 1000w model is higher than the other 14w a
year model, (namely 230w
> 140w)? Is it a no brainer to go for the 230w expectation?

6/9 is the date that we will go there to pay the money. Piano will be
delivered 6/23. They can only deliver all the pianos on the same day. So
everyone must be available at home on 6/23.
The store opens from 10AM to 5PM. You can go there anytime. Jim has another
arrangement that day, so he will not be available but the sale manager and
another sale person is there. They know the detail of our deal.

看当初给你的warranty的term，估计fine print里面有这个要求。
我当年买个新车，dealer宣传他们送一个10Year/100K miles的powertrain warranty。
后面读那个term，发现要求所有的regular maintenance都要在那里按时做，一项不能
少。
dealer的换油比外面贵很多，人家早就赚回来了。

To gufengc and dade:看样子今年没有去年那样的竞赛了，这样OCEF的募捐面临着很大的压力，我们需要募捐到跟去年相当的钱来继续资助以前受到资助的学生，并开始资助一些新学生。没有大家的帮助，我们很难达到去年募捐的水平，可能需要缩减资助的规模。这就是说一些我们资助的学生也许今年收不到我们的资助。
希望大家帮助OCEF资助更多的贫困学生，更多受到更好教育的公民是我们国家未来的希望所在。
