the Hillsville Puppy Mill. Pictures (coming soon!)
Animals are not ready at this time for adoption and are not on public

them open for public display. We are hopeful to have animals ready for
adoption by the end of next week.

好像挺喜欢我，7个月。我们心仪的Mary被adopt了，Mary好会撒娇啊，还主动伸手给我
摸，唉，可惜来晚了，他们改地址了，我们都不知道，浪费了一个小时在那边白等。
之后和老公买了不少猫猫的用品迎接我们的家庭新成员，哈哈

发帖数: 11847 | 5 晚上九点多,突然听到咪咪在楼下怪叫,有点像哀号,我赶紧跑下去,她正蹲在窗台上,看
着外面还在哀号,多多也随我下楼了,可咪咪一见多多就很烦躁地用前爪打他,很不耐烦
地样子。直觉告诉我窗户外面有情况,赶紧回头那了手电出去巡视. 最后看到一个黄色
的tabby。
在我adopt咪咪的时候，Foster family 告诉有只黄色的tabby当初和咪咪一起流浪的。
咪咪被fosterfamily adopt 后有一天那只tabby在外面出现，咪咪就在家里scream.
当时还问我，如果他们找到了那只tabby我要不要也adopt过来和咪咪做伴。我当时不置
可否，没有明确表态，因为一只猫都不知道搞不搞得定，更不敢promise养两猫了。
莫非是同一只tabby 又找咪咪来了？ 从咪咪反常的叫我直觉是的，从没有见她这样叫
过，我拿手电开门出去她挤到门边也要出去，以前也从来没有这样的。 看见是一只
yellow tabby 我赶紧回来拿粮和水，可再出去猫已不在了。 我把里粮和水还放在外面
，但愿那只tabby会再出现。
问题是，如果出现了我如何抓住他？

，很长）。

话说自从知道自己新搬的地方可以养猫后就开始在策划养一只。后来在Arkansas一个
breeder那里
定了一只小猫，品种是Cheetoh,这是个新品种，是Bengal和Ocicat的混合。拥有Bengal
的野性
和漂亮的外貌和Ocicat的温柔（有的时候。。。）和长腿。总之从出生起我就非常期待
的。
当时跟Breeder说了要只男娃，为什么我也说不上来。后来这一窝只生了两只，一只像
妈妈 (Lynx-
point snow），是女娃。另一只像爸爸（Seal mink spotted snow)，Breeder认为是男
娃。
当时就一板排定要那个男娃了，连名字都起好了，叫Talon。之后Breeder就开始陆陆续
续给我寄
update，photos，不过说实话他的拍摄技术真的不怎么样，那么美的猫也拍的像炸毛似
的。到了离
来我家前一个月，Breeder告诉我说他弄错了，小猫是女的，之前太肿了所以没弄清楚

Home visit after the adoption might turn away the potential owners. You can

昨天看网页上小家伙还在等着adoption 的list上，今天忽然不见了，有点紧张，电话
过去问，查了一下，说刚刚被 adopt 了，但不能给我更多关于adopt它的人家的信息。
可能真的像先前有个mm说的，猫咪坏的眼睛加上它乖巧的个性可能更惹人怜爱，更容易
在数百只猫猫中被人注意到呢。
不管怎样，是个好消息，祝福猫咪有个温暖的新家！

都没有作用。最后他很颓废地坐在沙发上失神。然后那只狗突然靠近他，舔了他一下。
最后那个录像里有一句话，大意是说：if you wanna adopt a dog, u gonna let the
dog first adopt u.

他们的adoption center设在一个宠物医院里。在批准adoption的时候，他们最关心的是动物的
vet history, vaccination and heartworm prevention and stuff。They claim
they can take the animal away from the adopter anytime during the whole
life span of the animal but they feed the animal Science Diet.. |

out of shelter and train them well for adoption (adoption fee is somewhere $
200-450 including all vaccines, neuter/spay, microchip, deworming,etc). Here

养了。发信问朋友，才知道小猫上个月生重病，发现的时候已经太晚了，立即被put to
sleep了 T_T
Emily
照片是三月份拍的。当时Emily刚来adoption center不久，和人特别亲，对其他的猫却
很mean。她常常是一边坐在人腿上撒娇，一边伸小爪子打底下路过的别的猫的头。整个
态度就像个生不逢时的大小姐。她去adoption center后不久，那里就开始流行眼病。
除了她的十几只猫都一把眼泪一把鼻涕的。今年难得去一次的我奉命带着照相机去，却
都拍不起来。只有Emily没有受传染，所以才有了上面唯一的一张照片。当时还觉得果
然是高贵的种啊，“出淤泥而不染”。没想到三个月不见。。
其实才见过Emily两三次的样子吧，可是对她的印象特别深。甚至还挺欣赏她的那种“
大小姐”作风的。希望如果有下辈子的话，Emily能成为真正的公主。。 |

发帖数: 2312 | 21 Rescue即使肯收（这个算owner surrender吧，有些rescue不收的），它最大的问题是
最后还是会adopt出去的。虽然他们会对申请人的条件有一定的要求，但是最后狗被
adopt后的命运怎样你是完全不知道也没有控制。所以rescue是比shelter好（不会被
put down，foster期间比shelter笼子舒服），但是也就是比shelter好而已。而且
rescue里面的狗也经常在不同的foster家庭之间转来转去。。。
一个option是联系rescue，看他们能否帮foster（但不adopt出去），LZ每月给他们捐
款几百，直到LZ自己能领回来。但是这个搞不好会被认为变相boarding，Rescue组织未
必肯干。
sigh，我好希望板上有同学肯收了。最爱大白熊了，可惜家里不能养。其实别的州靠得
住的人肯收也好啊，寄费相比boarding还是很便宜的。 |

When we adopted our two, there were three of them too. We asked what happens
if we only take two and was told that the third one could get adopted too.
Foster family had other cats that can play with him.
Maybe you can take three and try to get the third one adopted by others? |

像楼上讲的，你要是想foster,一般是shelter给你发信，给你几个候选让你在里面挑
（大多是生病的，年幼的）。像你这种指明要foster某只特定狗狗，尤其是还比较
Popular的狗狗的其实几率比较小。
adopt一般是很容易的。而且shelter里能存活下来的狗一般都很well-behaviored,毕竟
60%的都被put down了。你要是真喜欢，就先adopt，如果有问题再送回去。不过这个决
定不要轻易做。
foster一般很难领养到你看中的狗狗的。 |

then on, I've loved adoption.
I'm going to the 5k Dog Run by the shelter where my cat was from in 1.5

时候让原主人先foster领回家，够条件adopt了再转成正常adoption。但照顾小奶猫确
实压力很大啊，尤其是可能先天不足的小猫，shelter虽然条件不好，但毕竟可能更有
经验。如果决定要继续等的话，可以考虑每周带孩子们去看看啊，一起提前bonding，
享受等待的幸福感~~ |

So many counties have adopted or decided to adopt IFRS. Adopting of IFRS in
multinational corporations is a tendency to make the consolidation
consistent and comparable . Besides, US GAAP can be leaning toward IFRS. I
don't think the IFRS roadmap will change the accounting dramatically.
I am hoping it will explore business opportunities to Big 4s. It is better

3. 药品（包括疫苗）近年屡有recall. 你凭什么禁止有关信息来误导家里有小宝宝的父母去盲目迷信药品质量？
4. 美加庸医遍地都是，医疗事故屡见不鲜。你凭什么制造版面气氛让家长对处方和诊断不过脑子的去盲信？
5. 凡事要听多方面意见，有点科学精神，你们动辄删贴封人缺乏领导版面的基本素质
6. 为人父母要首先自己要学会尊重不同意见，不然以后怎么教育好孩子？
