对全部肌肉都不能控制了，怕胃里的东西呛入气管
此外也有麻醉方式也是让你失去知觉但基本的肌肉功能还是有的，那种其实不需要禁食
但是据说是因为不知道病人对哪种有反应，所以还可能用到general的，所以就通通要求
不能吃喝了。
休息的话这边还有说第二天就可以去上班了。有条件多休息两天，没条件的话别干重活
累活就可以了。 |

一个百分数。另外有的保险有的费用可以waive deductible，比如
prenatal care office visit之类的。主要看住院，手术这些费用，
如果是自付20% after deductible，那么你至少要自己出3000，只
多不少。
最简单的办法是打电话给你的保险公司，讲你的情况，问问他们prenatal
care,labs,childbirth (doctor,hospitalization,anesthesia),
newborn care这些具体条目各需交多少deductible,copay,coinsurance |

afterwards. Before the surgery, I consulted with many people including two
anesthesiologists and was told that the general anesthesia is considered a
pretty safe procedure for children since they are healthier. Of course, if
you can wait for awhile to have the surgery, it will be great. If you do not
have any choice, I don't think you need to worrry about it too much. Good

时候才八几年，技术肯定比现在差，麻药打完以后要七八个小时才能醒过来。我也上最

有类似的课，还是建议去参加一下，这个和家里看vedio感觉不一样。即便是你有医学
背景。
之前看了laugh and learn birth class and breast feeding class。
这次去产课感觉这个课还是很有收获的，虽然不能详细的解说每个topic， 但是基本上
cover了所有应该注意和可能发生的问题。这边收费只有65元两个人，早上还有bagel,
水果和饮料。

age of 3. Have you been taking good care of his/her oral hygiene? For a 3
years old, most "back" teeth won't lose till 11 years old. So of course, the
cavities needed to be removed asap. It will be hard for the child to

果孩子的蛀牙很多， 要拔，做根管， 作冠， 会时间比较长。如果孩子一直在清醒的
状态， 会对他的心理造成极大的恐惧和伤害， 可能以后都会惧怕看牙， 这是我们不
愿意看到的。同时小孩很难耐受疼痛以及术中因固定姿势而造成的不舒服感觉， 如果
不停挣扎的话， 手术操作中万一造成误差， 我想也没有家长愿意这种事情发生。特别

****努南氏症是1963年由小兒科醫師Dr Jacquline Noonan 首次提出並闡述。
主要是特殊心臟缺損、身材短小及罕見的臉部特徵，屬於一種多發性先天異常症候群。
目前尚無產前檢查可確診，但可在懷孕早期經由超音波掃描瞭解是否有心臟異常，約50
%的患者有PTPN Type11的基因缺陷，發生率為1/1,000 ~1/2,500出生新生兒。
疾病簡介
此症個案外觀像透納氏症患者，具有個子矮、八字眉、內眥贅皮、後髮緣低、脖子短、

體數目少了一條X所致，而努南氏症候群則為基因變異所造成，因此此症的發生不分性

宝非常健康。
上周五收到了生宝宝的账单，坐月子闲的慌，我随手把我的账单晒晒吧。觉得账单有些
over-price,有经验的MM给点意见吧，我是否还能医院讨价还价一下。
我的保险不是很好，平常co-insurance要付20%，总体来说，这次账单看上去比较
reasonable,但觉得医院真是暴利啊，有几项非常over-price。账单总共收费$12834.05
, 这次保险公司好像讨价还价的幅度比较小，总共还价了$1339.72，付了$11494.33，
我自付$1063.72，这些不包括宝宝的账单。
over-price最厉害的是房间费用。我从进医院就一直呆在一个房间里，但医院房间的
charge分成5部分-一般的ROOM & Board,还有recovery room, labor room, specialty
room, Operating room，前四项要价近5000刀。住院2天2个晚上，几乎是2500刀一晚上

账单上没有写payment due date, 支票也是要求寄到一个medical group的 po box，有

years ago - here is what I learned:
1. No need to beat yourself or other caregivers up. For my daughter, the
four teeth that came out first were rotten quickly but all other teeth were
good. Those teeth were formed before she was born. Nothing anyone can do.
2. She was not put under. But she was always very tough little girl, so
even just local anesthesia, she did not give any trouble.

If no, you should see a second doctor and ask for a second opinion. For

Yellow Book!
Finally, please be very cautious about general anesthesia for young kids.

The coverage is limit. You waste money for purchasing insurance.
by the way, you should take your child to see pediatric dentist when or
before first tooth erupts. 3 years old is too late. I see many children
under 3 years old with full mouth decay. Some of them have to complete
dental rehabiliation in hospital under general anesthesia. |
