下一场。从以往看, Sele got shelled almost everytime against
Yanks. 但还是那局话，现在的Yanks不能和移往比。 Safedome也不

如果先杀batter,原一垒的跑垒员可以跑二垒，也可以回一垒，所以
必须触杀。
那么bmouse的情况就要考虑是不是三垒的跑垒员先到家了。

先发投手的定义由该周实际比赛为准。
(比如yahoo将某投手定为SP，

不占据七人先发投手的名额)
关于各队使用球员人数的数据，

control over his curveballs, fastballs and breaking balls. He does
not have power but when he controls well he fans out batters.
Just no run support. What a pity that he can not get a win with such
a gem.
Thome got booed because of an error he made in 6th inning.
Also saw an ad that Duckworth knees down to a Thome jersey hoping
to get some run support. Very funny. |

你看aruthur rhode和jeff nelson,
自从当了半个closer之后era/whip做火箭上升。
各队的GM又不是傻瓜，
要是closer和setup作用差不多，
付他们的银子怎么会差那么多。
何况作为一个closer,爆了就要自己负责，没人给你兜着的。
做middle reliever,你一个terrible outing,
比如领先3 runs, 结果上来干掉一个batter,给人家连续5个hits,
打进2分，load bases,然后下场，下面的投手表现出色没丢分，
这个烂outing照样是一个Hold,和SV相同待遇太过份了。 |

必须触杀，就是手套里有球然后接触RUNNER的身体
还有什么杀？高飞球接杀啊(FLY OUT)
比如昨天那BASE LOADED的情况，如果打出一高飞球，球进外野手的手套，那BATTER立刻
就被接杀了，这时候
三累的人可以跑本垒也可以不跑，不属於强制上垒，如果他跑的话，要在球进外野手手套
后踩一下三累(TAG)，
然后跑本垒，外野手传球被捕手，捕手要想办法档住本泪的同时触杀三类跑来得人 |

next pitch will surely nail him.
2nd baserunner steals signs from the catcher all the time. Catchers will
certainly change their signs and doing other things (like Varitek changing
glove position last minute last night) to fool the opponents.
I think that's part of the game and don't blame anyone on doing this.
Some hitters won't take the signs from the 2nd baserunner, though, for they
are afraid the message is wrong. |

Yankees did have a 60 something come-from-behind wins in the regular season.
What does that mean? Our starting pitchers always dig a hole that the hitters
have to climb out of. In regular season, there are plenty bad teams for you to
spank around, but not so in the post season. You will meet tough pitchers that
your batters can not dominate.

学素描的人，第一堂课就是要画曲线，画各种各样的曲线。
熟练的画师，拿支铅笔在白纸上随手一画，就是条动人的曲线。
在棒球运动里，pitcher同学们也用各种各样的curveball，划出优美的曲线。
在我们讲第一种武器-fastball-的时候，我们知道快球在飞行的过程中，
是从上往下旋转的。（这样magnus force能够往上"托"球，使球的飞行线路相对较直）
而曲球则完全相反－－它是从下往上转的。
在投曲球时，拿球的基本动作以及投球的启动动作和fastball非常类似。
只是在快出手的时候，手腕翻转，使大拇指在上方，食指和中指在下方然后用力一拨，
于是出手时，球就是从下往上快速旋转的。
这样，球在飞行时，就受到两个向下的力－－地心引力和magnus力。
于是下坠幅度较大。（注：关于magnus力，参加本系列第一篇《让我们聊聊物理》）
曲球的球速比快球慢11-15麦/小时左右。
曲球的作用是：

而且之前是兩好球，我甚至都覺得投手根本沒打算砸對方。因為扔倆好球被對方打出去
的概率非常高，如果真想砸人就算迷惑對方兩球也不會投都是好球。
不過既然砸了，就硬到底，反正是對方理虧在先，也不好說啥。
倒是有老美媒體嘲諷我軍投手沒有讀過“The manual about how to hit a batter”。

Webb has an average career WHIP. He benefits most from
opposing pitchers and stupid batters who hit tons of double plays.
His mediocre Oct. numbers also prove he can't survive
good hitters. |

Webb and Wang will never have a good whip because groundballs
will find holes in the infield. But GIDPs have little to do with
"stupid" batters. Groundballs, while being capable of finding
holes, are also capable of finding fielders to induce a dp. |
