localized bone metastasis. If the new scan shows more progressive findings,
I would suggest to add Alimta in addition. Alimta is a fairly benign
chemotherapy and the side effects are minimal. If that fails I would then
consider Avastin combination. At any time, he could try Afatinib (an
more potent form of Tarceva) if it is available. This drug likely will be
approved in US by the end of this year.

or 6 recur in a year after complete surgical resection if not treated with
TKIs.
based on the size, this one should have a fairly high recurrence probability

if at all possible, perform a total or subtotal resection. she will likely
need hormone replacement therapy. she will possibly need radiotherapy too.
for the surgery, the approach depends on the location and size of the tumor.
the most commonly used two approaches are subfrontal and transphenoid for
this area.

disease your dad is having yet.
no matter whether it is a malignant or non-malignant (I am not using "benign
" here) condition, it should be diagnosed and properly treated as early as
possible. "non-malignant" doesn't mean it must have a better outcome than
malignant diseases.
when i see such specious "diagnosis," I often have the urge to make a big
red cross over it. I really feel sorry for those patients.

malignant unless medullary thyca is suspected. also biopsy should be
performed, however, depending on the location of the lesion it could be
difficult to biopsy given its size of 3mm. the patient could also choose to
watch and wait given the slow growing nature of thyca. i also saw an
article that says 70 percent of calcified thyroid lesions are malignant.

5个月前开始，右边，肋骨下方，肚脐上方偏右位置的右上腹，隐痛，钝痛，时不时的
，严重的时候疼可持续4小时，属于可以忍受（不需止痛药）的疼，但不舒服，影响注
意力。有时疼1小时。有时轻微。有时左边和中部也疼。有点胀。多数是右上腹疼。可
发生在饭后，也可发生在清晨空腹时。
2016-8月，10月见过内科，查了些东西查不出，转胃肠科。
2016-12月中旬看了胃肠科，根据症状描述医生认为极大可能是胆囊，为了排查，order
了各种检查，胃镜，腹部超声，CT, 胆囊造影（HIDA), 发现的异常有两样:
1. 胆囊息肉(Gallbladder polyp)。情况比较诡异，10几年国内体检超声偶然发现胆囊
息肉，多发性，医生建议经常复查监控大小，如果没有长大就不做处理。监控了5年没
有异常。出国后懒得监控，多年没去查，直至2013年去查了，却一个息肉都没有。原来
的多发性去哪了？然后2014，2015，超声：无息肉。 2016年4月超声有一个胆囊息肉0.
2cm。2016年10月超声没有息肉。2016-12月末胆囊造影（HIDA)说有息肉，但没说size

量。最忌突然停药，否则很容易rebounding。
吃药半个月一个月后就可以复查了，结果好的话就开始试孕，怀上后慢慢减量，同时补
黄体酮，因为prolactin高会导致黄体酮低。

There could be a lot of reasons for infant to have this, it could be racial
melanosis, melanosis oculi, a nerve loop, congenital nevus or something else
. Note that in case of melanosis oculi and congenital nevus, yearly
monitoring is recommended. Still, the doctors won't be too concerned about
them.

One of my friend's family member had similiar symptons and it turned out to
be a benign tumor. She surgically removed it and now everything is fine.
I hope you are not in the same situation but it's always worth a thorough
check than regreting it later.
If your OB doesn't respond, find another one.
