Man, you are brave. A good browser is Opera which allows you have
site specific preferences. Like when visiting chinese web sites,
automatically turn off scripting and iframe support, or block certain
scripts. When visiting gmail, stock sites, keep them on. Firefox's
adblock sort of does the job, but still not quite as good. IE is
very bad besides the fact that it under more scrutiny (i.e. hacks).
For the important sites, they usually have both IE and Firefox
compatibility, besides the fact

BTW< chasing after the hot stuff is still a respectful way of doing scie

ering Lao Poo, how many times he switched field in the past decades? But
he is still a highly recognized and respected scientist, who made contr
ibutions in a lot of subjects.

tenure in most of top US Uni would

2011年9月21日,在加州某大学的某同学A通过认识我的某朋友找我。A 同学碰到的情况
是他上学期选的一门Finance课程成绩被教授“暗算”了,只给了他成绩C。如果按他平
时的成绩和期末考(成绩未知)的情况,他应该能够拿A,哪怕是A-。没想到这个教授
整学生这么过分,把他的期末考和平时的participation分数当作fail,给他这门课的
成绩为C。
在他跟教授交涉未果之后,某朋友知道了这事情,跟我提起。我让A同学来直接跟我谈
,我需要了解各种情况,弄清楚各种事情的来龙去脉,才能确定我能否和怎么帮得了他。
在skype上交谈中,我让他把各种证据准备周全,并扫描给我看,包括这门课程该教授

Besides homework from school, how much more extra homework your kids do
everyday after school? how many hours do you have from come home to go to
bed?
For us (public K), we have 4-9 PM before lele falls asleep. School has
English homework only for 2 days a week (2-3 pages), math once every month (
20 pages though). Our home Chinese school has no homework. I do read with

Where the money goes? To chinese gov? To church charity? To support a group
of americans (Have u ever seen that will have no additional mission besides
charity) going to China. I hope our money does not bring trouble to China.
The best way seems to me is going to Chinse gov directly.
