朋友今年1月发生了一起车祸，在一丁子路口，她右拐，拐前她也看了确信左边没车向
她的道过来，谁知左边过来的从其他lane过来一车突然转到她的道上，结果撞上了。她
和对方都是geico的保险，当时给geico打电话，geico判断双方各自用保险cover自己的
损伤，就完了。她们也没叫警察。结果对方前一阵联系geico说自己从去年4月开始觉得
身体不舒服，开始看大夫，要求claim我朋友的bodily injury险，我朋友的bodily
injury是5万/人，10万/事故。结果geico和对方没达成协议（我朋友也不知道他们是谈
的多少），现在事主电子file了case告我朋友，法院给我朋友发传票，先让她回答一系
列的问题。朋友通知geico，现在geigo assign了一律师work on this case. 我朋友刚
把问题给回答完了，交给geico的律师了。这两天又收到律师一份信，说based on

发帖数: 10390 | 3 对保险不是很清楚.感觉对方保险公司在忽悠你,如果对方是有过错的,他的policy中应该
有cover你的部分(Bodily Injury),我的保险是最基本的保险都包括这个.
如果对方是别的州的,没有或者不够,他就是uninsured或者underinsured,这时候你的保
险里应该有开始cover你的这部分的,我的policy里有Uninsured Motorist Bodily Inju
ry 和Personal Injury Protection (PIP),都能给自己cover医疗的费用的样子.
我这里有个保险的术语,看看有帮助吗

低的，真出事的话，球用不顶。
我没买collision，其余的都买了半年158刀，GEICO给了个令我吃惊的价格。我原来用
progressive额度全部最低半年也要收我接近400，我在芝加哥downtown.现在换个高额
度的还便宜很多.collision这个我原来也没买，也要接近400.

非是StateFarm,Farmers, Travelers, Allstate, Geico, Nationwide, Progressive.
还有如果有home insurance / renter insurance 就会有折扣. 还有deductible 不要
太低,推荐750以上 (除非你好车又经常出车祸).你可以要求列出每项收费, 例如:
Comprehensive: 750 Deductible
Collision: 750 Deductible
Bodily Injury: 250k/500k
Property Damage: 100k
Medical Payments: (有医疗保险不要算了）
Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury: 250k

方的车无论责任如何都是找对方自己的保险公司赔付。换句话说，“Property Damage
Liability”和“Bodily Injury Liability”在其它州是保别人的车，在本州是保自己
的车。在其它州，如果对方的车贵，还可能出现保额不够的情况。在本州，基本上保额

逆行的路，我知道，旁边是停车场，不让外面的车停，我也知道，下雨，我绕了一圈儿
没找到车位，只好一咬牙，在路口，有点逆行，或者说，从人行道的路肩吧，上了那个
停车场，让ＬＤ看车，我准备迅
速跑出去买了吃喝就走人了。
可我，竟然这么多年，不知道那个路口正对警察局。
呵呵，被逮了现形。
一张违章也就算了，大概一百多刀，我准备认了。可是，该我倒霉，ＬＤ的车，当时我
们怎么都找不到保险单放哪儿了，那张罚单，竟然是张３９８刀的罚单。我晕。走前写

50k。刚刚在MVA网站看到这边要求是30k/60k，property damage 15k而已。开的是个破
车，请问大家在这边买车保的时候是按最低标准就可以了吗？
之前打电话quote了几家，一开始allstate给我quote个700多半年半包，当时吓了一跳
，后来仔细一看他给我加成50k/100k的bodily damage/uninsured motorist，然后
property damage 也给加成50k了。
现在我NC这个policy 180半年，目前quote Geico最低，按照MD 最低要求是250 半年，

看了以上，我了解了粗浅。最主要是这条:

According to 3.04(1), as long as YOU believe that force is immediately
necessary for the purpose of protecting yourself against the use of unlawful

limited, 3.04(2).

force, indoor or outdoor.Even in FL, the state with strongest SD law, this

prerequisites than regular SD at other places. I am partially in agree with
OP.
I just want to point out that from my understanding, "imminent threat" is
key to successful HD both at the scene and later in court. Now using this
same example:
FL 776.013
1) defines "presumption of resonable fear of imminent peril of death"
2) EXCLUDES (1) in following situation. It is NOT a waiver for defender to
shoot at will.
