近年来，时常有学者或文化人从中国民族文化自尊的角度强调，不宜再将“黄色”一词
作为色情和淫秽的代名词来使用。他们认为，这一中国传统语境中本来象征高贵和尊严
的色彩词，其含义的剧烈转变其实历史并不长，不过是近代以来中西文化互动的变异产
物。然而这些文章未能深化探讨“黄色”一词内涵演变的近代轨迹，未能深入揭示其“
淫秽”含义在中国得以生成的具体历史过程、时代契机与因缘，并在此基础上分析其所
潜藏的文化意蕴。故此，本文试图在这些方面，作出新的研究努力。

最早就没有36000-37000的死亡数字，死缠硬搅的离奇维只能找到最常见的33000多的数
字。
最初引起长期混乱的基本原因也是比较清楚的，下面的报道也有提及。最早公布的死亡
是先陈述了因敌对引起的死亡（died from hostile action）之类的数据，然后列出“
其它死亡”一类的数据作为韩战伤亡统计数据陈列的一部分。对此，长期的理解是那些
“其它死亡”与韩战有关。
5万4这个数字曾经深入人心。
1993年版的大英百科全书第6卷第963页仍然用那个数字：“The Korean War resulted
in the deaths of about ...; and about 54,000 Americans..."

没错，“油彩画”是在1400年产生的，但在这之前，西方绘画与“油彩画”非常接近，
只不过用的不是稳定的Oil媒介，而是用egg tempera,tempera等，一直可以追述到公元
前一万年以上到洞穴绘画。那时就有了西方画笔叫Brush。在用油画之前，西方调和剂
用gum arabic, animal glu, animal fat, and casein，而中国从古至今只知道用水调
和，笨不笨？。
也就是说，在油画出现之前，西方用的颜料媒介是很多的，而中国只用水（最简单的头
脑都想得出来用水调和），中国水笔太软不能用于西方各种绘画，西方使用的笔比中国
早几千年，品种也比中国多得多。而且西方写字的笔与绘画笔是不同的，中国是相同的
笔。与笔相比，调和剂复杂的多，西方的调和剂有较大进化，虽然笔也有进化。
从这个例子也可以看出，西方对古人嗤之以鼻，不断改进他们的方法，而中国人却崇拜
古人一成不变“博大精深”，实际上是“too naive”

【共济会】词条系《中国大百科全书》邀老何撰写，该条目收入《中国大百科全书》第
二版（精粹版）第465页，于2013年1月出版。
【共济会】
共济会 Free and Accepted Masons 全球最大的神秘跨国组织。中文直译名称是“自
由石匠联盟”。
原始起源不详。自称起源于古代巴比伦。
中世纪后期，共济会是一个地下异教组织，也是大西洋海盗与十字军骑士们获取经济后
援和军事情报的组织。近代共济会是从事启蒙和地下活动的革命组织，革命对象是天主
教和各国王权。现代共济会是一个集金融、情报、政治及宗教活动于一体的影子政府组
织。
共济会最常见的徽号是圆规与方尺。圆规与方尺象征天圆地方，中间的大写G代表共济
会信仰的神灵。

美国战略重点从大中东转向亚太，中国的经济实力发展是个主因。所以从新近的东海防
空识别区争议，到南中国海领土冲突，处处都出现山姆大叔的身影。但是说到底，这是
华盛顿力图维持二战结束和苏联瓦解以来的美国势力圈，或曰“美国强制和平”（Pax
Americana），并无直接的领土扩张雄心，这与当年大英帝国扩展海外殖民地实现的Pax
Britannica有所不同。
但是中国的崛起，却有可能帮助促成北美洲一个“大美国”，也即美国和加拿大合并为
一个政治实体。
虽然很早就有人鼓吹美加合并，大多数人一直认为这是一个有巨大障碍而难以实现的政
治梦想。《华尔街日报》12月初刊登了具有美加双重国籍的加拿大著名女报人戴安·弗
兰西斯（Diane Francis）的文章，强调美加合并的前提日益成熟，而应该进入两国的
政治日程。
这一时评，其实是弗兰西斯今夏一本鼓吹美加合并专书的摘要宣传，但是《华尔街日报
》刊登此文，说明美国精英和“上层建筑”对此的积极态度。这是因为弗兰西斯的论点
——美加合并的紧迫性主要是为了应付中国崛起的“威胁”，获得美国不少主流知识精
英的共鸣。
