不清除, 安全填法是叫 12% tax, 填在相应12% 拦就行了
不过这个太多了, 如果你去年回了趟国,在国内炒挣了钱,那部分你可以claim
是not earned in MA, 填在pages 3 上, 不用打州税
risky 填法,都不填, 因为你是NR, 而且你的brokerage不在MA, 你可以说
钱不是MA 给的,而且你是NR, 所以你不打税, 律师对这也不清,让我问
MASS INS.

从2016年5月分，公司开始给我发RSU股票，在发RSU时就已经把一部分股票买了交税了
sell-to-cover tax. 这样的话年底brokerage 就会给我寄一个1099B，同时也寄一份给
IRS。去年我在报税时，我认为发给我的RSU已经交了税，就不用额外说明了。就没有把
这个1099B和Form8949填上交过去。（我也不知道要交。）在IRS给我的信中说，看到了
brokerage 给他们寄的1099B，就认为我有股票交易，有这么多收入，但这部分没有交
税。其它，这部分股票交易本身就是为了交税用的，根本就不是我自己的额外收入。
现在需要跟IRS解释清楚，那些股票的sells是sell-to-cover fax purpose，不是我自
己的额外收入，需要多交税的部分。IRS说如果我不同意他们，需要写一个statement，
说明情况。 具体要怎么操作，小弟并不是很清楚。例如，如果写这个statement, 要不
要再填Form8949, 要不要更正2016报税的1040表之类。

像我们mortgage brokerage这个行业在美国是很成熟的。我们是跟很多nation wide的
lender合作，拿到的wholesale rate会比直接去银行拿到的更competitive， 而且服务
也会更周到。毕竟大银行店大压客，多一个或少一个他们都不会很care。

employer to ask for it. The decision is not by the retirement plan provider
but by the plan sponsor (your employer). Maybe a higher plan administrative
fee is involved.
Usually for providers like Fidelity they would want you to open brokerage
window so that you can use more of their service. |

I think you are talking about small brokerage firms vs. big banks (Wells
Fargo, BOA, etc).
Typically you will get best rates from small brokerage companies, but big
banks have some room to manipulate for special promotion or do case by case.

这个数学很简单
10000块本金，7% return, 30年, tax rate 30%
401K FV = 10000 * 1.07^30 * (1-30%)
Roth IRA FV = 10000 * (1-30%) * 1.07^30
真正区别是正常brokerage帐号和所有这些所谓的tax shelter帐号(IRA/401K/529)之间
，因为brokerage帐号要收capital gain
我同意LZ，如果还在Roth IRA的收入范围内（单身11万吧）都没必要放满401K，把公司
match的那部分拿到就好了，如果真想存钱养老就放到Roth IRA，本金拿出来不交税也

电话. 这个对保证贷款过程顺利以及确保能做到promise的no cost, no fee都是很重要
的. 相对来说, agent在这方面要好一些. 您可以google一下版上一些BOA的经历.
第二, brokerage agent拿的是commission, 提供的是service, 银行的agent是不是拿
commission不知道, 但是就算不拿commission, 这些人做在branch里本身就一是一个不
小的cost, 我们agent只要一台电脑一个桌子就搞定了.
第三, 就是工作的时间和效率, 一般来说银行的officer是不能和agent比的, 我一般在
晚上9,10点接电话是常事, 晚上12点和client讨论case也不稀奇, 银行里的agent可以
下班后能回email的不多.
purchase loan来说也不是用贵的agent, 是要找一个靠谱的agent, 如果case 简单, 还
是可以做最好的rate. |

对，市面上最常见的comm就是6％
其中一半属于seller side，一半属于buyer side
然后呢，每个brokerage和他们的agents签的contract是不一样的。
我们公司是1%，agent个人是2%。但是agent可以选择给她的客户一定数量
的“rebate”which is up to half of her、his comm which is 1%。
现在市场不好，多数华人agent都会有这样的offer。但是据我所知，老美很多
不这么干的。我问我们公司的broker是否允许，他很奇怪地看着我说，你愿意，
公司没意见。。。o(∩_∩)o...
有的brokerage和agent签的是五五分成。现在还有一些小的realty公司，二八分。
有的只charge一个固定数额的transction fee，剩下的comm都归agent个人。
这都是这些小公司吸引agent过去的一些手段。我没有选择这些小公司，因为我觉得
自己是新人，需要系统的trainning和学习。另外大公司的好处是，

两年前有个亲戚给我寄了个旧电脑，declare value写了90美元，结果收到时UPS收了我将
近60块的tax ＋
brokerage，tax是26块多，brokerage是30来块，打那以后再也没用过UPS。
如果从美国买东西的话，推荐大家用USPS，大部分时间税是可以逃了，即使逃不了broker
age也很便宜（据说很便宜，不知道便宜到什么程度，没交过，呵呵） |

还有很多的cash on hand,equity long/short (including stat arb) 基本可以说是
