，出现暴力。我那天晚上一直在电视上看事态发展。可惜电视镜头都是有选择地强调学
生抗议者的暴力和混乱，对警察的暴力镜头很少。BBC的主持人Ben Brown更是完全把
BBC的所谓不偏不倚的编辑原则抛到了九霄云外，他躲在警察后面，捡起地上的水泥块
对镜头说，抗议者把这些石块仍向警察，打伤警察云云。
其实那天晚上媒体报道的“暴力”，说来说去，是议会广场周围财政部和最高法院的几
块门窗被砸。最大逆不道的是查尔斯王子夫妇乘坐的轿车被一些抗议者投掷了油漆，受
到些轻微损坏。王子夫妇当然安然无恙，但他们的汽车“遇险”后，英国媒体开始哭天
呛地，表现得歇斯底里。报道一下子转到了警察失职，检讨保安措施，政客信誓旦旦要
