装一个undercabinet 的 抽油烟机，今天去太平洋店里问了，人家说我们这种上面
cabinet没有管道的只有两种款式可以选，但是确实不好看，我们也确实不想在上面
cabinet打洞，有没有大神们推荐一个好看的又不用打洞的抽油烟机？谢谢
ps：还是装微波炉好看，舍不得我的微波炉 |

症状： AC 制冷效果不好。今年夏天温度高且持久；室外 90F;空调持续开，只能将1楼
和地下室的温度维持在77F左右。 晚上将空调设置到二楼，需一个小时左右才能将温度
降到75F左右。前年ac加了近1 lb 的ferran; 去年气候不是很热，空调制冷马马虎虎。
冬天室外20F， furnace will turn on every 10 to 15 min;
公司给了一个报价 for new furnace/ac ；只问了一家报价，有以下四种选择；如果
pay check 会有6％ 折扣;

一个打孔的工具，最大只能打出2寸的孔。这个自己用锯子应该勉强能锯出个形状了，
但是想到dry wall那里是cabinet的木头和drywall连在一起的，肯定更难打通，彻底放
弃了。
有啥好用的打洞工具可以推荐吗？是不是这样只能去找师傅了？应该在哪里找师傅呢？
一般的handyman能搞定吗？我家的cabinet 后面就是外墙，应该比较好装。 |

You should have changed the cabinets when you did the floor / counter. If
you want to change because the cabinet doesn't look nice, maybe you could
just replace the cabinet doors, and resurface the frames. |

发帖数: 1242 | 21 上月我们的厕所洗手盆又开始漏水了，LD说打死也不修了，完全没有caulking的价值（
已经caulk了n次）。我们就琢磨自己换一个洗手盆。后来工程越来越浩大，结果除了浴
缸和马桶没换以外（地板还补了一些地砖），能换得都换了。
LD在我的监督之下负责把东西全拆走，装完了洗手盆就崴了腿。只好我自己出马，我学
会了用miter saw裁2x4，切drywall。把原来medicine cabinet的洞封好。然后仔细的
刷了两次油，昨晚LD到家后我们装了灯，今晚我们装上了镜子和柜子。
上次盖小房子我基本没动手，这次home improvement是我第一次直接参与这么多（上次
换窗我也帮了忙，可是这次比较独立作业），觉得灰常的有成就感，现在想起来都觉得
自豪。
其实也有不如意的地方。因为stud的地方不好，结果镜子不在洗手盆中间，cabinet不
在马桶正上方。还有因为原来灯的接口地方也不对，结果灯不在镜子的正上方。现在看
到那浴缸就想把它砸了！

窗等都很好。。赞一个。
我就补充一点就是除了bottom cabinet, top cabinet的厚度可以全用12”的柜子，就
是说会去掉那两个厚的pantry，那个显的堵，然后 把oven 挪到和cook-top一起。如果
还是觉得拥挤，可以考虑top cabinet保留一面，另一面做open shelves， 这样空间会
显大。 牺牲的柜子空间看能不能车库里补一下。 |

些upgrade让builder做比较好，哪些
自己做比较好。所以想上来问问大家的建议：）
1）新房的standard cabinets是clear finished beech wood，实在不是我的茶，不知
道让builder upgrade是否划算，他
们报价是maple w/raised delta door／mocha 是2675，maple w/recessed marina
door 是1895，cherry的相应地贵
350左右。考虑让builder 做upgrade而不是自己换掉，主要觉得把新的cabinet没有用
就换掉有点暴殄天物，不换呢，心里
总觉得看得不舒服。
2）countertop builder给的是白色的ceramic tile，看起来很象国内厕所的瓷砖，肯
定是要被换掉的。现在犹豫是要自己拿
到房子以后弄还是让builder弄，agent说让builder弄的好处是不会破坏cabinet和洗碗
机啥的，但是看builder报价单，感觉

three types of floor sander from Home Depot - drum one, edger, and flat one
. The sanding is much much easier than that of cabinets, I feel; but
staining is difficult to be even. Though I used oil-based stain it's still
not quite even.
But the time spent in floor refinish (800sqf) is no more than 1/10 of that
in cabinets. |

the past few days for searches and some items arent coming up so I linked
some directly to the Z-Line site for pictures. To find if these items might

(a) Last thing first: The last paragraph states, "奥巴马总统在2008年1月宣誓
就职，到了2009年4月才召开第一次内阁会议。" Pres. Obama's first cabinet
meeting was indeed held on Apr. 20, 2009. But his inauguration was in
January, 2009, not 2008.
(b) The article says, "各部的英语都使用department的说法，除司法部外，包括国
务卿在内的各部首长的英语称呼都是secretary。"
The head of Department of Justice 司法部 is Attorney General.

The Japanese economy is at a standstill, Japan's government has said, as
concerns about the strong yen continue to grow.
