1. Master or Ph.D in Counseling in an Accredited program in the U.S.
2. Certificate from related professional association

program高, 20%-30%之间. 不过一般的nsf program有不少proposal
是乱投的, 上来就毙了, 所以严肃的proposal其实比例还可以.
而career proposal因为大家都写得可以, 竞争就显得激烈一点.
需要一点运气的成分.
我不知道哪里可以查到这个比例. 这个也跟方向有关. 不过总体
感觉不应该太惨.
career award怎么说也就是一个funding program而已. 保持平常心吧.
我今年跑去跟一个manager聊天, 他说, 只要你的idea好, 最后总能
拿到funding的, 不用担心. 我后来想想, 觉得他说的也有道理.
有意思的是, 他是用中文跟我聊的, 搞的我很不适应. 很多专业名词
我不知道中文应该怎么说. 早知道我应该查一下再跟他侃的. |

someone gave me the summary from last year. I looked at the recent three

的CAREER再写新的东西。Regular的多数中了。但是不是

式的结果要1月。
主要时间也太紧张了，就几天，下不了决心收一遍煎熬。但是拖到明年又觉得更加希望

A 自己在这个方向已经做了3年多(整个方向已经火了差不多6年了)，有还不错的
publication，算是有一点点reputation，但是这个方向已经是人满为患，拥挤不堪，
虽然自己觉得具体的TOPIC还是比较有新意的，但是怕大题目已经是审美疲劳了。
B 这个方向是去年才开始突然火起来，自己大概做了有将近1年的研究，发表过几篇文
章，但是这个领域自己还并不熟悉，也没有多少名气，具体考虑可以写CAREER的TOPIC
还没有发过文章(大致思路已经想好了)，但是感觉很新，没有人做过，也比较有意思。
现在很纠结，到底是选A还是选B？如果选A，自己有好几年的底子，比较有track
record，但是东西很难做新了；如果选B，东西比较新，但是自己是初出茅庐，还没有
多少底子。
大家帮忙建议一下？ |

我可能会有一些conference paper，但是是不是还不足够说明自己已经有足够多的积累
呢？
我看了过去很多拿CAREER的人，好像题目都是延续他们以前的工作，所以积累非常多，
PUBLICATION拿出来就非常有说服力(甚至可能名字往那里一放就足够说服REVIEWER给钱
了)。跳到一个新领域貌似不容易说服别人。 |

10单位的面试，最后都没有拿到offer。大家觉得CAREER是一个big plus吗？老公第三
年了。有些犹豫。如果继续在现在学校呆，100%年底可以申请tenure。如果换了学校，
弄不好还要从头开始。
