office把所有的地毯都换了。然后依据一年后他们付1／3费用的原则，让我们除了
deposit还要交700多。然后说如果明天交就再打个折，再付500. 他们承认客厅和卧室
没有印记，但是还是换了。以前从来没有遇到过，请问大家根据加州的一般规矩这种情
况是不是应该由我来付换客厅和卧室地毯的钱？谢谢。

全地休闲滑雪是个不错的家庭运动，健身减肥增强疾病抵抗力，舒缓冬季暗无天日长夜
漫漫压抑的心情，挺好的。
今年滑雪季票的价钱好像涨了10到20刀。我想买的成人LTD票是309刀，比去年涨了10刀
。不过我去年滑雪器械都买了（旧货总共不到300刀），所以全家省了器具租金费用四
百刀。
今年季票优惠九月十五日是截止日，九月十六日票价还要多二三十刀。不过微软现在有
人在跟他们要group优惠，不知道适用那一种，我记得只优惠团体课程票的不优惠季票
。微软的同学不急着买，等周五他们有消息了我再更新。

tow。rope tow 更适合练习。（我是说，west 与 central 都有 magic carpet，但只有
central 有 rope tow。如果是真的 beginner，先再 magic carpet 玩一下子，站得稳了，就

打算2012年底开始学滑雪的同学，现在就可以动手买优惠季票了，现在雪况仍然相当好
，估计还能免费多滑本季一个多月时间，貌似票价跟两年前完全一样，也跟使用微软优
惠的价钱完全一样。
月族关(Snoqualmie Pass)雪场季票信息

这个Snoqualmie雪场的特点是离西雅图最近，在90边上，Sammamish开过去只要45分钟
。另外的有名雪场有Stevens和Crystal开车都要两个钟头左右，所以初学滑雪推荐首选
这个雪场。如果去滑的人多了，孩子们在雪场可以互相学习鼓励，如果拼车在路上也比
较热闹。

个square feet。 加上pad， 这cost 真不小呀。 想自己rip off carpet然后叫HD 或
lowes 来装new carpet。 把old carpet cut 成小块装在trash bag 里，每个星期在外
面放一点， 让收垃圾的收走。 请问有人自己remove 过地毯吗？难度有多大？ google
了几个youtube， 似乎不是很难。 不知道我是不是低估了。 1千多尺的地毯要省五六
百呢。remove一千多尺要多久？

房客必须提供professional carpet cleaning的收据，而且是要用那种mount在汽车上
的carpet cleaning。
或者预付押金里面制定一定数额用作professional carpet cleaning。这笔钱要单列，
是non-refundable fee，一定不要把这笔钱叫做deposit。 |

铺整齐比把carpet或者tile铺整齐容易多了，手艺好坏主要体现在速度上

1965版的，特意买的DVD看得，对真喜爱的不愿意看盗版的，呵呵。有几个镜头印象特
别深刻：春天来了，，那儿一大片一大片春天里在风中不停摇摆的小黄花；日瓦格医生
走下火车，透过树叶望去，看到了满树满树的阳光。Lara被迫离开他，在冰天雪地里越
来越远去，Dr. Zhivago拼命地爬上二楼，希望还能看Lara最后一眼, 其实只能看到的
是变得很小的马车。
后来，找了原作来看（英文版），一下子喜欢上了，就觉得是似乎是俄罗斯版的“红楼
梦“。怎么突然觉得，日瓦格医生和宝玉很像。
里面许多对白，把许多很深地道理，不经意间三言两语就说的很清楚，回想起来却意味
深长的很，说出了我心里有但自己不会说的许多意思。可惜，看不了俄文，相信原本会
更有滋味。我怎么突然觉得这本书和“红楼梦”很像。我感觉这个作者和曹雪芹也是很
想象，现代作家里，我能想到只有沈从文和他们像----才华，美学修养，还有真的悲悯
胸怀。常常不禁想，要是晚解放几年，说不定，沈从文能写出一部红楼梦这样的作品的
呢。

it depends on what kind of house you live in - poop does attract rats.
but i think if you live in high rise building, you are probably fine.
when they change the carpet, they may or may not give you the option between:
(1) replacing carpet only
(2) replacing both carpet and the padding below
most companies would do (2) so that they can make more.
for your case, you want to replace both layers anyways...

tea tree oil. 一大sink水，两三加仑的，用几滴就够。Fred Meyer卖，七块多一小
瓶。
洗碗液也可以。
另外，喷雾的也很好。注意一周后再来一次。跳蚤卵一周后孵化。所以再一次基本跳蚤
就绝户了。

. 但是leasing office没有派人打扫房子和换地毯. 今年6月lease到期就搬出来了。今
天收到leasing office 的 Security Deposit Settlement. 其中的Deductions包含:
Repairs(Kitchen floor and Carpet) and cleaning. 总共$1627. 其中 Kitchen
floor 和 Carpet部分$1537.
另外，Sublease 给我的那人告诉我，他也是从别人那里sublease过来的，Carpet至少
使用了6年。在这6年中leasing office没有maintain过房子。另外本人在康涅狄格州。
请教指点一下, 非常感谢

Put an ice cube in each indentation, and let cubes slowly melt. Wait 12
hours, blot up wet spots, then use the edge of a spoon (or fork depending on
the type of your carpet) to lift carpet fibers back up.

拿出去了，才发现那一侧的floor也是湿的，而且开车时能看到一薄层水在floor上面晃
动，不知是什么原因。我最近连续开7-8小时的高速，2-3次/周，全部把A/C打开，是从
车外进气而不是空气内循环。不知湿 floor是否为A/C的原因，修车店的人建议我用空
气内循环看看。又有其他修车店的人说是engine heater core的问题,是漏coolant.可
是我没有闻到coolant的味道呀。又有修车店的人说是橡胶胶皮leak，所以水通过
dashboard渗入floor,建议我把全部橡胶胶皮都给检查一遍，这可怎么查呀。
大家伙经常讨论夏天停车后车底盘滴水，可是我怎么是车里面floor渗水，这种情况太
少见了。有经验的人请讲一讲。 |

发帖数: 110 | 45 前两天买了mini countryman，当时dealer推荐extended warranty，我没买，现在想想
有点后悔。不过车子还没到，所以可能拿车的时候还能补。但是想听听大家的意见，这
个有必要吗？
Mini的车都自带3年36000 mile的maintainance，还有4年50k的mechanical（发动机，
变速箱这些的）修理的保险。dealer那推销的是$1900多的extend到6年，6万还是7万
mile的maintainance，还有$2100左右的extend到10年120K的机械部分warranty。
dealer说现在不买，三年之后贵好多，他还说mini换油等maintainance这些要有专门的
设备和软件来做，感觉除了dealer就没有别的地方可以做了试的。是真的吗？
另外小问题：dealer送floor mat，有rubber的还有carpet的，rubber的貌似好打理，
但是carpet更好看些，但是我不知道，会不会很难搞卫生，没有经验，大家说我应该要
哪个呢？ |

wipe off loose dirt, shampoo, wait a few minutes, vacuum (or steam vacuum),
air dry, white vinegar is very effective to eliminate the odor. Don't use
bleach which will damage your carpet. |
