Chua妈书房里的书桌上，就摆着厚厚一本这位先人对易经的读解
Chua姥姥很有商业头脑，二战后发了，产业置到了檀香山，檀香山可能是我的yy,反正
在夏威夷是没错地
Chua爷爷也是生意人，貌似没有姥姥那么成功
Chua爸从小就有米国梦，是冲破了家里的阻力，不远万里mit 留学的
俺觉着，是个很有天赋的人，也非常非常非常的勤奋，在事业上也有不少建树
Chua妈自己以及姐妹们的学术成就，事业定位etc，俺就不用8了吧

看到新语丝上的“中科院遗传与发育生物学研究所27岁女博导：神话还是现
实？”确实大听一惊，到中国科学院遗传发育所网站上确认，果真如此。真是天
下奇闻。
然而，等到看看女博导的publication，心里至少明白了一半。她的论文里
（不是最重要的JBC）有一个很有名的人：蔡南海（即Nam Hai Chua）。
NH Chua何许人？只要你到中国科学院各个生物研究所问一问就能知道。现
在这些研究所里掌握实权的人里（其中不乏院长、院士、所长、百人计划、博士
生导师等等），有好些就是此人的学生，而有好些则曾经到Rockfeller大学NH
Chua 的实验室里进修过。其中一些，甚至是NH Chua徒孙一辈的人。
NH Chua做科研是很厉害的，这次我们看到，他和他的子弟们 不仅仅是做研
究厉害！
不过这NH Chua的出现只能解释为什么Publication这么差（要在中国好的大
学或科学院，博士期间连篇象样的论文都没有连学位都申请不到）的人为什么想
做百人计划。她真的做成百人计划，还有一系列的程序要走，比如：

85年中Prof. Chua访问大陆，当时有幸能聆听其一次讲座，虽不懂，但记住了Prof.
Chua 所做的三项工作：
1) 非線性電路理論， Memristor
2) Chaos混沌现象;
3) 低频噪声1/f Noise;

或认识的大多嫁给了白人，为什么：amy chua算是第二代，所受教育是美国为主的；
amy chua是东南亚华侨，这些人要找个中国人，或是华裔，也不容易，即使大家都是华
裔，文化背景什么的太不一样了。 amy chua毕业于名校，这里面的华裔男生在那个80
年代估计真的是凤毛麟角，有个把华裔男生估计也挑长相好看的，不要气势大的，容易
handle。 |

一开始坐等叫号，进来一帮人不知道干嘛地，一中年帅哥挨个问候，走到我这里，说是
governor，问我从哪儿来的，我答中国，然后此中年帅哥开始说中文，比我的普通话还
标准。。。
老妈来美国没几天，找个会说中文的老外很难，趁此抓住机会猛聊，无奈时间太短，中
年帅哥继续行走。。。
