1.在纽约州领证
首先,要到 https://www.nyc.gov/portal/site/cityclerkformsonline 在线申请结婚
执照(Marriage License).
当然,也可以到city clerk申请,但是网上会方便一些.
申请表格的内容就是申请人姓名,现住址,出生地,父母姓名出生地这些.
填好后,会返回一个Confirmation Number.这个表格在填写后的21天内有效,期间双方和
见证人要拿着Confirmation Number和ID(护照之类)去city clerk交钱,签字.
然后,领到结婚执照24小时后,可以举行仪式,或者就在city clerk做一个简短的仪式.不
过city clerk的主婚人态度可不怎么好,总是阴沉着脸.当天就能拿到marriage

发帖数: 2578 | 40 去年9月下旬的车祸，my fault，当时的保险是geico，没有保bodily injury。12月份
保险到期了，没有续保，也没有去买别家的保险，由于无知，当时也忙，就有2个月的
gap没有保险，2月初换的是Infinity的保险。保费很贵，但是没有办法，别家的更贵。
结果今年3月底在路上被警察pull over，才知道3月初的时候我的驾照就已经被
suspended了，警察当时就把我的驾照没收了，还给了我一张citation。我去court一问
，才知道是因为去年9月份的车祸，那个claim里有个100刀的bodily injury一直没有支
付，让我直接找dmv去解决。
4月份我去dmv交钱，clerk说我必须先要我的insurance company提交一份SR-22 form，
而且必须是红色的卡片版，普通的A4白纸版的不能接受。我就给infinity打电话，
infinity说他们没有红色的版本，只有电子版，并且帮我提交一份电子版的。过了一段
时间，我去dmv问，clerk说根本没收到infinity的电子版SR-22 form。5月份的时候，

发帖数: 130 | 42 说实话，闯红灯那个，罚钱罚的很少很少了，只有35块钱。我朋友上次被罚了100.
如果你打算直接付账，那么你的点数会增加，因为闯红灯是机动车移动中的错误，和
parking ticket 不同。你付了罚单，就说明你认罪了，因为会增加你的点数。
如果你打算appeal，那么你可能会被要求到middlesex court。这个也不用担心。因为
你并不是直接见法官。你会被要求先见一个register clerk，她首先决定你是否应该负
责任还是可以waive.这个时候会有一个警察在旁边，作为给你罚单的警察的代表对你提
出指控，你就可以进行申诉。如果你说的有道理，那么那个clerk就会直接给你waive掉
。 如果你对clerk的裁决不满，这个时候才会安排你去见法官。不过一边来说clerk都
会把你的罚单减半或者waive掉。
所以你申诉的话，有很大的机会免掉罚单。
现在大家都很穷，所以你见clerk，无论结果怎样，要先交25块钱。如果你选择继续上
诉，见法官裁决，再交50块钱，无论结果怎样。
你这两张罚单在一起，也算划得来了。 |

发帖数: 3032 | 43 你自己就可以搞定。把这些收据都复印一下，然后用中英文自己写一段话说“This is
to certify the following receipts are the copy of the originals', 或者类似的
话。. 然后拿着这份文件和原件去找NOTARY PUBLIC。让NOTARY PUBLIC 在每个复印的
收据下敲个图章。接着去这个NOTARY PUBLIC 所属的COUNTY CLERK去敲第二个图章。接
着去STATE CLERK 敲第三个图章。最后拿这个文件去中国领事馆认证一下。
STATE CLERK在华尔街地区，COUNTY CLERK在CITY HALL那边。所以你可以在CITY HALL
附近找个NOTARY PUBLIC 开始敲图章。但是要提醒一下千万注意NOTARY PUBLIC的图章
是MANHATTAN管辖范围的。我上次在CITY HALL旁边的银行敲的第一个图章，然后去
COUNTY CLERK人家说NOTARY PUBLIC的图章是BROOKLYN的。这个NOTARY PUBLIC是住

county clerk发的还是county health department发的。如果是county clerk发的，可
以直接去州务卿认证。如果是county health department发的，你必须先去county

争非常激烈的职位, 最高院的9个大法官每年就招30个左右CLERK, 法学院TOP14后学校
的基本都没机会, 就算是YALE, HARVARD的去也要成绩好加LAW REVIEW,挤破头.部分
state courts, local superior court 竞争会小一些, 可也绝不是成绩差的没办法才
去. 相反, 绝大多数大律所都鼓励法学院新毕业生先去法院做一两年CLERK再来所里工
作,因为在法官身边工作, 一个是熟悉最核心的法律诉讼业务,对LAW PRACTICE有比书本
上更深刻的理解, 也可以积累人脉. 因为LAW CLERK收入都很低, 和大律所没得比, 大
所一般都会补贴一年5-7万美元算是生活补助. 而且注意, 这些毕业生去做的是LAW
CLERK,也不是就做直接做法官, 只是助手. 联邦法官都需要总统提名, 州的法官的提名
任命程序也是有章可循的. 几乎不可能出现没从业经验就去做法官的, 过不了律考的就
更不用谈了.
