reporting director一美国大妈)offer.location 不在考虑范围内.主要从长远发展来
考虑.不知道去了小公司后,还有没机会跳槽去大公司的临床部门.或者还是得先进大公
司的门,再转.希望有经验的人能帮忙给点建议,万分感谢! |

发帖数: 44 | 2 专门写protocol和cSR的是medical writer. Clinical Research Scientist 是Design
protocol和analyse data为主。不同公司内部分级不一样，高级的（很多公司叫
physician）需要us board MD, 中级的有很多是PhD有临床试验经验的，初级的一般
master 学历，很多从clinical operation 转过来。如果你只做basic science没有
clinical trial的经验，一般是很难进的。可以考虑去做biomarker方向或者
translational medicine.
另外，medical writer 对于找不到工作的千老来说也不是很容易进的 |

你现在实习的时候好好表现，给manager留下好印象，也强烈表达下兴趣和将来申请工
作的打算
我以前实习的warfarin clinic是有做过residency的人干的，很多都是part time，一
是为了家庭，二是每天都干受不了，太单调。
上面说到的新药危机，是存在的。越来越多的医生prefer rivaroxaban. 遇到几次医生
discharge A.fib patient 之前要我给病人做education，选择rivaroxaban
既然你在做这个rotation，随便问你个问题吧：对severely renal impaired patients
, 选哪个oral anti-coag?
答了这个问题就知道了，需要anti-coag的人群老年人居多，warfarin clinic 到底会
不会消失这个问题，你应该能回答上了：）

因为比较好找工作。但是clinic trial下面有些什么方向我就不是太清楚了。
我的背景：以前生物转的生统，修了两年统计课，像survial和categorical这些光是应
用的话，感觉还挺有兴趣的，longtitudinal虽然没学过，但是也有兴趣自学一下。涉
及纯统计理论的东西会感到比较吃力。clinic trial只是自己翻了翻。不知道现在做有
些什么热点？大部分人都在干什么？有些什么方面值得注意的？现在国内学术界和业界
都什么情况，做什么方面比较好呢？

厂关心的东西
（比如这两年的adaptive design）直接相关，否则什么topic都多少能挨上点儿边。况
且药厂也不
全是clinical trial。Pre-clinical, biomarker什么的也都需要人。所以你做missing
data, longitudinal, survival, categorical, functional data, model
selection, pathway analysis, genetic epi什么的都能扯上关系。可能唯一和药厂离
得远一
点儿的是time series, PCA什么的。但是我也不觉得会有什么很大的区别。主要的还是
能找份
intern，建立connection比较有用。clinical trial用到的统计知识很有限的，更多的
是PM,
communication skills这些soft skills比较有用。 |

想着毕业了也能找到这方面工作。结果最近看了一圈下来很受挫。几乎所有的opening
都需要工作经验。工作经验都是从无到有的，如果clinical trial 都只招experienced，
那现在在做这一行的是不是都是从其他相关部门转的啊？否则没有工作经验找不到工作，
没有工作又谈何工作经验啊？想问问大家像CRA，medical monitor associate等相关
工作的entry level该怎么入行呢？
我有MD background，国内三甲医院临床工作过；在美国有大药厂biostatistician
的intern经验；学校做TA，RA都是和health research相关的。不知道这能不能算是
相关经验啊？如果有人知道有相关的opening，能否给个referral，重谢！得抓紧找工
作给娃挣尿布钱啦 :) |

，Gilead 把title 从senior 一直提到 manager 还是很难找到人。找到的几个是想借

电话来约着去学校面谈一下。时间定为上午11点，但是也没要说要谈多久，见多少人，
要不要准备job talk。请问哪位同学知道这种meeting一般是什么形式进行？由于开始
时间比较晚（上午11点），是不是系主任想先聊聊呢？一起吃个午饭？如果感觉不错，
再另外选日子正式interview？
但是email里系主任又是说“we look forward to meeting you at。。。”，听起来又
不只是一个人。
正式的research faculty肯定要正式的onsite interview，给talk。这种clinical
faculty呢？是不是也肯定要在全系给talk，见所有的人。有没有可能当天谈的不错，

If you believe you can secure funding in 3 years, you should shoot for
tenure track. If you want a more relaxed life, I believe clinical professor
is a good choice. You will have higher pay from the service you provided (
teaching and clinical related service), and with a AP title, you can still
apply funding or collaborate with other faculty. Only difference is job
security, but I don't think you should worry much about it. It is not a
