买卖提的精华在于term， 许多老人是不用web的， 这个term在server中是已经被淘汰
了， 因为不安全， 茄站现在用的程序是web， 但是不久就会改为另外一个商业程序，
有专门的app， 以及为以后打算， 在table和手机上都是有专门的设置的， 不过这些
都是花头， 一个论坛吸引人的地方我认为根本就是人， 就是你和哪些人混一起， mit
这种方式实在是不太适合一些想正常交流的人呆着 |

clumsy，效率大概只有20-40%，每次都要重新load整个页面，而且也没有键盘命令，每
次拿鼠标戳戳也够费劲的。
web搞出了“主贴”或者“楼”这么一个荒谬的东西。term下面所有的post都是一样的
，比较省心……
微信这类东西都是多数人对少数人的暴政。用手机戳戳戳去灌水是件非常非常愚蠢的事
情。
bbs的发展其实也类似。从telnet界面变成www界面，水手的生命被浪费。我老人家自打
不用telnet之后就已经不那么水了。 |

文学翻译课的老师讨论了几个长期困扰他的难以翻译的中英文单词：
一是腥。我们立刻说fishy！但老师说中文里的腥有血腥、草腥、鱼腥、人腥气——腥
其实包含着生命的标志和气息。我想起初到金华时闻到一股土腥味还是金属腥味；我妈
一向叫我狗鼻子，这么说来我这叫对生命气息高度灵敏啊。老师是非常文学的；在我看
来前两个词只要翻成smell of blood/grass就行。人腥气翻成human smell？这个的确
听起来古怪，不过“人腥气”在中文里也一样不常见吧。另外想起同样表嗅觉的花香、
饭菜香也没有确切的英文对应（fragrant太书面语；又想起aiyayayaya还聊过“馋”没
有好的翻译），英语里的嗅觉词汇不丰富噢。
二是涩。老师说最直观的例子是生香蕉的味道。几个老外学生面面相觑，只能想出一个

发帖数: 141625 | 13 80年代后期在国内热播的《蓝精灵》我一集没看过，倒是一句“在那山的那边海的那边
有一群蓝精灵”听得烂熟。昨天第一次看这个电影，原来通常与忧郁相连的蓝色，被这
位比利时作者Peyo逆转成快乐的色素，真是积极励志并充满童心。
这些小精灵做得好精致，借用matisse的话，“任何东西一变小，好像就比原来可爱一
百倍……”最喜欢Clumsy：
似乎他的脸部线条特别柔软，下巴短，最像小孩。做事也总是毛毛糙糙，一副天真无辜
的神情，好像我家小弟弟。
最喜欢的声音是Papa Smurf，那么柔和悦耳，听得满心舒服。找到配音演员叫Jonathan
Winters，不认识，看他给好多动画片配音。去年刚去世。542岁的蓝爸爸安息……
女演员Jayma Mays漂亮得像个洋娃娃：
她在《Paul Blart: Mall Cop》里也是女主角，演得还行，就是她的脸为什么总给我失
真的感觉？顺带说说《Mall Cop》这个搞笑片，男主角是《The King of Queens》的主
演Kevin James。

我蛮喜欢方幅，打算长期使用。只是好奇rolleiflex vs mamiya6哪个相机更好。目前
很喜欢禄来的成像和用起来的那种clumsy的感觉。mamiya可能用起来更快，但是有点

时间里都使用SB400而不是笨重的SB600和800。（My SB-400 is a very simple, very
high quality flash with all the features I actually use。。。I use it all
the time and no longer bother with my clumsy SB-600. ）
现在SB600各家店大多没货，而SB400只有100多刀的价格又实在很吸引人，不知道大家

F1.4, your dof is usually as thin as an inch or two.
Liveview is useful, on some occasions. But I find it clumsy and unnecessary
most the time. For instance, when i shoot a flower or bug from a camera
mounted on tripod, there's no need to recompose, so using viewfinder is just
as effective.
You know what is the most ironic portion of this discussion is that finally
someone is bringing the photographer(s) rather than equip |

看新闻,sitcoms,泡酒吧,学到的英语完全不是precise, articulate, and
sophisticated English.
普遍被认为是英语写作典范的现代英文,是两本杂志:Economist & The New Yorker. 前
者又好于后者.现代英文,好的标准是简洁,易懂,精确.复杂的句式,生僻的词语,都是被
垢病的坏习惯.
你可以精读泛读结合,背颂某些段落,同时泛读所有文章加强语感.多读一点你就能感受
到,这里面的文章完全不会用你message里面牵强的生僻词,不会生硬的套用从句,不会一
个句子keeps dragging on forever, with all sorts of clumsy qualifiers.
还有希望你不要见怪,你最基本的问题是思考方式.不够清楚有条理,不够sophisticated
.这个看你读的东西看的电视也有反映.不管那种语言,表达出来的是你的思维,如果你想

eye hand foot coordination.
I did not 爬 myself and was told that I was a little clumsy although I did
not feel so......

haha, in the end it became a debate about 中国人and 美国医生
I think 中国人 raising kids are more detail-oriented, are more devoted. 美
国人 are more relaxed. Overall I could't say which one is better in the end.

R的最大好处不止是免费。当然免费是很大一个好处了（而且免费+GNU，很多冷门的
packages）。R的结构是OOP的，很flexible。R容易program，因此几乎在non-
parametric/bayesian等不断有新algorithm出现的地方很dominant。而且做
computational intensive projects时，call其他语言比如Fortran or C++都很方便。
所以R的fans community很大，大家都很fervent是有原因的。R的前身S-Plus的发明人
是得到AMC的一个杰出奖，成就被认为和发明UNIX，LaTex等人相当。
SAS是procedural为主的，其实比较clumsy，不过在industry上由于对大规模数据有研
究，连接SQL好，加上先入为主，再加上FDA clinical好像只承认SAS的结果，才那么多
人用的。
当然可能我有点感情色彩，但R受欢迎绝不是只由于免费的。
