是成绩分数之类的了，而是what can you contribute to the stanford community，
能使得stanford增加diversity或者某方面更杰出等等。普通的社会公益活动都没什么
用的，要有很强的突出点才行。从这角度看ariel有明显的卖点，何况stanford非常重
视collegiate体育。所以没申请到比较遗憾，也许申请材料有硬伤（比如只会打球，没
别的了），也有时候只是运气问题，毕竟录取率太低，admission committee under-
staffed，过程很随机的。。

发帖数: 48486 | 34 不好意思扯远了，从机场回来的路上，想别天黑不好找，先去探探路吧，搞清旅馆，工
厂和打球地点三者之间的位置关系。主要我还担心同事会工作的很晚，毕竟他的活儿比
较麻烦，我可以出来先打球，再回去接他。
显然探路的想法是明智的，白天好分辨目标，打球的地点在town center附近的一片
office complex，town center是一片mall，打球地方跟印第安纳波利斯和杨世纲的球
馆比较像，要小点儿，晚上来黑灯瞎火的不好找。J次出差，因为没想打球，GPS都没带
，还好脑子里有了地图，基本上方向和位置都搞清了。
不出所料，我的活儿很早就做完了，同事还在忙，快到7点的时候，我跟同事说，先去
打球了，他完事儿给我短信，我来接他。然后赶紧回旅馆，换好衣服，直奔打球的地方
。三者离的不远，到那儿7点多一点儿。
加上跟我一块儿到的一位，他们一共5人。一看，其中一枚老印还认识，五年前，在印
第安纳输给他了，他球很稳，当时是很solid 1800+，不过我主要打了一夜麻将，早晨
踩着棉花打的，输的口服心不服啊。先跟他打招呼，说我5年前在印第安纳波利斯输你

是業餘的，可是聯賽組織絕對不能也業餘。只有聯賽的組織職業化專業化，大眾足球才
能夠有發展且長久，否則組織不好問題多多時間一長大家的積極性都沒有了。大家都不
願意參賽了，交流少了，踢球的人少了，氛圍沒有了，還何談發展呢。而我覺得只有大
家一條心、攥成一個拳頭才能夠辦起來大事。現在各地大大小小的華人賽事挺多，組織
工作水平也參差不齊。我理想的一個狀況就是先把幾個州辦的好的聯賽聚集在一起，大
家形成一個聯盟，漸漸的吸入小的聯賽或在沒有聯賽的州建立華人聯賽。形成一個在美
國的一個華人足球聯盟。咱們的基數擺在這裡，統一去拉外聯，然後根據聯賽規模大小
進行資金分配。對小的聯賽和新建聯賽有幫扶。對加入聯盟的華人球員和家屬，球迷等
等有提供各種惠利。我們形成一個大的整體就也必然會成為一股不可忽略的華人力量。
