MX养M3， 现在还要养MY， Roadster Gen2. Tesla Truck。。。， 估计一郎本来就没
想很快赚钱。 现在花街来压力大， 能基本打平不用近期再筹钱就行。 现在不花钱把
规模做大， 车型覆盖更广， 等传统车厂大举进入电车市场，还有中国那些new comer,
将来即使不倒， 也只能成为niche player, 不会有很多上升空间。
Tesla的垂直整合度远高于传统车厂。 传统车厂跟Tier1有长期的合作， 产品上也有很
多延续性。 所以不要把NUMMI以前出多少车和Tesla现在出多少车相比。 Tesla在很多
方面是第一个吃螃蟹的， 包括生产线自动化上。Ramp up 有磕磕碰碰可以理解。
Tesla在其他方面的布局， 包括Supercharger， Solarroof， Powerpack/Power wall
， 直销模式， 自营的售后服务。 短期都是开销， 但有了先发优势，后来的要追就没
那么容易了。

but got different results. To me, I believe you do not need to be in US for
3 years to qualify as a resident alien. It says "...during the 3-year period
that includes ..." which just enchances your chances to be counted as a RA.
If you stay in US for >183 in current year, of course you have stayed >183
days in the past 3-year period.
Remember, for first year comers, people can choose the option to be counted
as a RA for |

You have to impress other people by the work they ask you to do, not by
speaking out loudly in the meeting.
If it's your first job, I'm sure you will have a lot of things to learn. You
may be stronger in some technical fields than your coleagues, but you still
have things to learn from them. So I think you should keep a little bit low
profile in the first few days. Each company has it's own procedur |

different criteria, as some previous replies suggested.
Anyway, you need to protect yourself. The best way is not to tell anybody
about this event, which will only put yourself in a bad position since you
are new comer. Unless you are sure you will win.

It all depends on local work load, that is it.
If you ask for absulte equity, the first comer should go to the least work

今天讲的题目是“后发劣势”，这个题目也许不太适合很多人的口味
，因为现在国内都在讲“后发优势”。我讲的后发劣势在西方研究的人也
不多，有一位过世的经济学家叫沃森，他在财政联邦主义、政治经济学等
领域很有建树，“后发劣势”概念就是他提出来的。他提出的英文名称叫
“Curse To The Late Comer”，就是“对后来者的诅咒”。他的意思就是
说，落后国家由于发展比较迟，所以有很多东西可以模仿发达国家。模仿
有两种形式，一种是模仿制度，另一种是模仿技术和工业化的模式。由于
是后发国家，所以可以在没有在基础制度的情况下通过技术模仿实现快速
发展。为什麽说“诅咒”呢？就是说落后国家由于模仿的空间很大，所以
可以在没有好的制度的条件下，通过对发达国家技术和管理模式的模仿，

company has a new comer (indian guy) works in the office besides mine. He's
been here for over 3 weeks, averagely only spent 4 hours a day in his office
and dissapeared. During these fous hours, he mainly calls or receives phone,
or just talk with his supervisor on all the work-irrelated stuffs. man, their
lives are easy.
