我的本科做这些太慢，要等好久。另外也不方便找人去本科学校现弄。

发帖数: 127 | 2 本科大概180多个学分，按CPEES的转成120个学分后数学差了11个学分。工程类倒是多
了10几个学分。
我是申请转PE到FLORIDA，已经有其它两个州的PE。他们看了我的硕士和博士成绩单后
减了7个，还差4个学分。让后我的申请就DENY了。
怨天尤人也没用，人家的地盘啊。请帮忙看看怎么跟他们ARGUE，需要准备些什么材料
，FLORIDA PE BOARD离我这不远，如果需要可以自己去一趟。就是不知道应该怎么跟他
们说。请有经验的朋友指教一二。
对了，理论力学，流体力学之类的可以算BASIC SCIENCE吗？材料力学我就不指望了。

发帖数: 162 | 6 The problem is most of the state boards require evaluation. CPEES is the
mostly accepted one. There is no way else.
It is natural that we have difficulty passing the evaluation. Remember when
ECEI did evaluation, most students can not pass. The stupid rule is set by
them, what can we do.
One thing I would remind you is that evaluation is just a reference for the
boards. Many boards will allow you to take the tests even your evaluation
didn't meet the so called ABET standard if you have enough ex |

Tsinghua Civil Engineering program does not fulfill the required curricular
content of the ABET.
In a word, it is really very, very little chance to pass this evaluation for
our degree from China. Unfornately, I am not the lucky one. |

My personal feeling: We should do CPEES evaluation. It will be beneficial in
the future. We had overcame some many obstacles to come here. Shouldn't get
frustrated by just an evaluation. |

ECEI stopped taking new application on 10/30, which means those boards who
accpet ECEI only have to find another one to replace ECEI. I belive CPEES
will be the best choice for most of states. Actually, some state had already
replaced ECEI with CPEES even before ECEI stopped taking application.
I have submitted my application to CPEES. Hope I won't miss the deadline
April2007 PE exam. I am not sure if CPEES is better or not compared with
ECEI. At least, there is always someone to pick up my |

the envelope is sealed with stamp it would be ok. mine has stamps on all
pages and across the envelope. course descriptions should include topics
covered by that course.
I would suggest you try your best to decribe the courses to meet the Basic
Science/Math category and other categories. See CPEES website.
CPEES's rule is: no matter how many credits you got from BS, they will
convert to 120 US credits. Therefore, passing |

学差3个学分，CPEES说有硕士和博士的课程，应该没有问题的，但是今天刚拿到BOARD
寄来的信，被据，真是郁闷。
信上说可以申诉，但要补充材料，但我听我朋友说一般申诉，去HEARING也没什么用，
信上也没说应该补充什么材料，或者要在美国再拿一门3学分的数学课之类的，要去什
么学校那课，COMMUNITY COLLEGE，或者ONLINE的课行不行，都没说，根据大家的经验
，应该怎么办啊，我想拿课都不知道哪里的课BORAD是承认的，哎，真烦，对了，我在
FLORIDA。

there. however, more and more states require CPEES, for instance, ohio, used
to be the easiest state, where I got my FE and first PE license, now starts
to require CPEES evaluation. My evaluation is in process and very like will

Larry(a Chinese Evaluator) called me because I questioned their rule of
converting all credits from Chinese Universities to 120 credits of US
universities.He mentioned some states might accept advanced course credits
for deficiency, but the worst scenario is some Chinese students don't take
Chemistry! Most state won't accept such deficiency if they do require CPEES
evaluation. For Indiana, it is ok if you have MS plus 8 ye |

估得不到通过。特别想问问在new Jersey, PA, IL这种很严格的州工作的朋友，如果你
们的本科学位也没有通过评估，即使考了别的州的PE，转过来也是要求评估的，那说明
你们也就不可能得到本州的PE了，那这样别州的PE有意义吗？
另外，如果就是不考PE，对职业有很大的影响吗？
再问有没有以前考FE的时候通过过ECEI评估的，现在考PE，而且通过了CPEES评估的朋
友？他们这两个机构标准一致吗？

CPEES 的 evaluator说很多中国学生缺少的是数学学分， 你在这边有40多个学分，其
中应该由数学的，可以在申请考试的时候补上你现在学校的official transcript就可
以了
学历学位证的原件可以在CPEE收到你的申请材料后再交， 网上是可以查询到他们收到
原始材料没有 |

件，课程中英文说明，加盖学校和系里面的章，还有学位证书的原件。过程比较繁琐。 |

ABET university, you should be automatically eligible for the FE exam. In
some of the states, you can apply for the evaluation waiver about your
foreign Bachelor's degree. NCEES should also consider this waiver if we have
our Master's or PhD degree from the US. |

without an evaluation. I received the evaluation report after I took the
exam. It might be helpful if I need to transfer my license to some other
state later.
So, my suggestion is do not wait until you receive the evaluation report.
Try some other state to take the exam first! |

要求evaluation了。 NND， 现在还在为怎么能tranfer到本州PE发愁呢。I was failed
from ECEI, and I was from Tsinghua too, even I provide everything they want
(original diploma, course description translated).
They will say you are short of credit in science (they will put lot of ur
credit in engineering) or verse. And short of literature credit (they will
put english courses in category called "Others"). |
