USO is tracking the WTI, while UGA is tracking the gas.
What's the difference between the WTI and gas? Well, gas is a refined
product of the crude, :-)
But more IMPORTANTLY, by law, US can NOT export crude, that's why there is
always a price difference between WTI and BRENT.
BUT US can export gas, that's why the whole argument about the keystone
pipeline project.

U can either take Feb physical delivery or roll the contract until Dec.

actually, grains could outperform gold even more
but it is not easy for retail investors to play crude or grains
yes, there are ETFs, but they have their problems that have been discussed
on this board many times. Also, all these paper investments are at high
risks considering the global casino we are in today. Another financial
meltdown could wipe out them all.
Physical gold is still the easiest and maybe the best play in the next 5

Gold and Crude rotate to the upside
Both Gold and Crude rotate up through resistance, opening the door to much
higher prices in both those commodities. 110.00 was resistance in corn, 1450
was resistanc in Gold. I have been stopped out of my gold shorts, and have
flipped long.
I am still sitting short the dow futures against 12,400.
Time will tell. |

Get Short Cotton on any rally
I like selling rallies now in Cotton.
Last Thursday, on the 31st, Cotton got very bullish numbers on that crop
report.
Since then it has moved sideways to lower. When a market gets bullish news
and does not rally, that is a sign of weakness.
For a good spec, consider buying CN 168 or 155 puts for the CN 168 put will
cost you 4k. the 155 put will cost you 2K.
Today is April 14th. These options expire in 57 days on Jun 10th.

2. Psychological level for non-automatic traders
I don't know if algorithmic system(I think it's systematic, algo is about
execution), takes extra weightings on whole/round numbers in general,
but based on my observation with 5min trading on crude oil for a month, more

总是觉得APA和crude oil挂钩。
事实上CHK的走位和6月29日的第二次77时的价位，早就有力的反驳了这一点。
CHK是全美第二大natual gas producer，APA是upstream，早就知道了，但是没有联系
起来。
收盘的时候看了一下crude oil的future，85.9.
NOV涨了0.5%，DVN，BHI都是跌，说明在大势的影响下，能源走得是何其之弱。
我还特意观察了一下C的走位，虽然我不会short之，但是次股本周必跌无疑。
第一个ER的AA的解读是何等的关键，ok的ER，不ok的解读，这样的expectation，下面
的company如何beat？那市场的走向只有一个，就是下降，并且伴随整个ER季度。
本轮的关键不在于明天，我将在明天走完HIG的2%，然后持币观望。
APA的今天走势呈焦灼状，明日按常理我会short之，不过明天是周二，有点特殊，我将
不做操作。
从value角度，今天APA 85的价格是很cheap，我将会在明天早上考虑买入10 call。
