非要营造美国人跟中国人一样看重奥运的这个舆论挺无聊的。
在中国，有中国人参与金牌的热门项目，体操跳水啥，那是普通人家里必看的节目。美
国也有人看，比例小很多。很多人把这当成没有橄榄球/棒球/篮球时的替补品来看。
老美谁天天在学校和公司里跟人谈奥运？每天拿几块牌基本没人care。咱中国人每天几
块金牌，第二天几个冲金点，但凡老幼年少，都能说出个道道来。
美国是个移民社会，很多人从其他国家来，大部分都有喜欢报粗大腿的典型移民性格。
不象中国人对中国这样有这么强的归属感。
俺在美国混了不少时间了，学校，公司，大地方，小地方都呆过。美国人最关心的体育
项目是橄榄球和棒球，篮球其次，冰球再其次，奥运会大概跟冰球一个档次。
所以你说中国拿多少牌了，beat美国了，其实美国人不care。你跟他们说这个，就好像
一拳头打到棉花里一样，人家也就奉承你两句，拍拍屁股走人了。

美国没有所谓的官方语言，英语广泛使用并不是因为它是法律规定的官方语言，而只是
因为便利，因为由于历史原因绝大多数国民都懂英文。在南部一些拉美裔众多的州，西
班牙语和英语并用，很多文件都是英西文各一份，也是因为图便利。如果华裔人口越来
越多，而且都愿意讲汉语，汉语也完全可以取得西班牙语的地位。加州的投票考驾照什
么的不就已经有中文了吗。
如今很多华人被白人至上主义者洗脑，以使用中文为耻，尤其是在某些正式场合，认为
讲中文“不professional，不appropriate，不decent”(原谅我中英夹杂哈，不过这类
华人平时都是这么说话的，我只是原样模仿而已)。
这种说法有多么可笑，如果研究一下少数族裔的历史就能发觉。不知道诸位有没有观察
过黑人的头发？很多黑人尤其是女的，都是那种拉直或烫卷的发型，看起来脆脆的硬硬
的，就是所谓的"perm"(不是办绿卡的那个perm哈)。这纯粹是用化学品人为改造的，黑
人天然的头发是卷曲柔软蓬松的那种。自从种族隔离时代起，黑人就被教育说他们天生

decent与否，在网上看就只表现在网络语言是否文明上。即便是一个没有接受过很好的
教育的农民，也不妨碍他有可能成为一个decent的人。而有受过良好教育的人，也不
guarantee是个decent的人。
我对老K佩服得五体投地怎么了？我佩服的人可多了，这个版上还有很多我特别敬佩的
人，比如asian、globalized、DSJS，都是既儒雅又有知识又以理服人的人，再比如同
女版的ali，我就是喜欢蹦出来直接表达我的大力支持，这是我自己的偏好，每个人都
有权利说出自己的看法。
现了他对知识的涵盖面和记忆力，并且灵活运用到“舌战”中来，但是不能就此定义他
是一个decent的人。
明他就是一个素质低下的人。
，但是你也不需要每次都蹦出来强烈表示“大力支持老K”吧？ |

辈的问题以及楼主一个帖子里问到的，父辈都能过，我们为什么不行呢。。。。。。我
个人的观点是比较悲观的，随着社会的进步，人的劳动价值确实是越来越低，生活确实
越来越不易了的，能养活多少个孩子的能力也是越来越弱了。说说我家：
我外公外婆生了六个孩子，那是解放前了，外婆不工作，外公是中学当训导主任，据说
就是现在的教导主任之职，赚多少钱不知道，反正家里有佣人，还买了几个孩子，置了
很多房产，反正日子过得非常富裕，感慨地说，旧社会知识分子待遇真好啊，一个人工
作养十来口人轻轻松松。
到了我爸爸妈妈，都是60年代的大学生，据说起薪在社会上算是很高的，我妈妈说当时
她的工资比他们粮食局其它人的工资都高，只有局长比她工资略高，那时候知识分子待
遇还是很不错的，大家也都没有灰色收入，都是老老实实拿工资。我爸爸妈妈生了四个
孩子，不是计划生育，他们还想生，反正妈妈爸爸说从来没为钱发过愁，虽然不是大富
大贵，也是节俭的人，但是以他们的能力养四个孩子那是绰绰有余。分析起来，我认为
