I didn't google for this. I studied water treatment in
university.
The spent exchange medium can be regenerated with a solution
with very high and pure sodium concentration. Let's use
calcium as example. If the calcium in water is extremely low
and the sodium is extrememly high (say, 10%), calcium will
diffuse to water and sodium will replace calcium untill it
reaches chemical equilibrium. If you do it with running
solution, all calcium will be replaced ultimately (not
practical in real life). |

ceiling上也开了一个 2ft x 4ft 的口，然后是一个像 sun top diffuser那样的材料
板子，但是好像很薄，每次开门关门那个板子都会啪的一声。（光是透过屋顶玻璃到
attic，然后透过ceiling的透明板子照到屋里）
想问问大家，有没有比较好的材料可以装在ceiling上，让屋顶上的透过玻璃的光比较
柔和的照到屋里？而且板子不要太软，要不然有点气流就会啪的一声。

disclosure，属于欺骗吗？ 另外维修其实就是检查了空调运作，报告说一切正常，根
本没修什么东西，但却告诉我空调修好了，这也是欺骗吧。今天，buyer agent派了个
人来检查空调，我说这空调在非常热的时候，根本降不下温度，尤其二楼特别热，检查
的人确认了空调运转正常，说这个房子的结构以及空调的能力，就是这样。但这些信息
我根本没有被告知。 换个空调要好几千呢，不是几百的事情，现在房子都close了，我

enclosed with a door. So I think I need two diffusers, one to vent shower+
jaccuzi, and the other for the toilet.
The old design has only one fan over the toilet. I have to leave the toilet
enclosure door open after using shower. |

diffuser里面结冰了，冷风过不去。把冰去掉就好了。
后来过了三星期又结冰不通风了。网上查了下说是密封条不严密，热风进去导致结冰。
我检查密封条，好像也没啥问题。defrost也是好的。

发帖数: 2464 | 40 一个多月前重感冒，很重很重那种，先是嗓子痛，后来都说不出话来了，咳嗽不止。
不过不发烧。
持续一周多。
期间发现颔下淋巴结肿得很厉害，很硬但不痛。
再后来吃了些消炎药感冒好了，淋巴稍小了一些，
可是最近一个月就不往下消了，还是很大。两边都有。
前几天去看医生，做了ultrasound,
说是两侧特别是颔下腺周围有几个淋巴结肿着，
让过阵子再不消再做一次。(不过最近都没消，再接着消的可能性是不是不大啊）
查血好像基本正常，血小板稍低于正常值。
后来又做了MRI，说是diffused neck adenopathy，没有tumor/mass什么的。
医生说建议再做一些blood test，加上淋巴穿刺。
要是再查不出什么就切一块淋巴下来看。
怕死了。MRI加ultrasound也还是不能排除淋巴瘤的可能么？
所以就上这里来问second opinion了。。。

生说两项检查都没有问题，给了我血检和超声检查各一份，然后我欢天喜地地回家了。
回家的路上看了两眼超声检查单，吓了一跳，上面写的是"the liver is increased
mildly in echogenicity, which may reflect fatty infiltration or diffuse
hepatocellular disease".结论是："Mildly echogenic liver (fatty infiltration
versus hepatocellular disease)"。附带一句，最近体重减轻了好几磅。
这个结论看着很可怕，脂肪浸润或肝癌？去年6月检查肝实质回声均匀，一切良好。脂
肪肝嘛，我是个瘦人，饮食是比较喜欢吃海鲜。
这个医生为什么什么都没说呢？还说我身体很好？每次去看一次也很烦人啊，又要约又
要跑挺远的，有能给点意见的吗？ |

老婆今年28岁，二月在UCSF确诊是papillary thyroid carcinoma，四月做了total
thyroidectomy，冷冻切片符合papillary，但是是diffuse sclerosing variant比较
aggressive，而且是moderately differentiated，所以当时已经知道复发的可能性很
大。七月份做了RAI，剂量是100 millicuries。RAI后的全身PET scan没有发现I-131
uptake，TSH在0.1左右，但是因为thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb)非常高（>3000），
所以thyroglobulin (Tg)指标虽然接近0，但是基本没有用。一直以来除了稍微缺钙其
他基本正常。
令我们非常意外的是，上周的颈部超声波发现一1.1x0.4cm的钙化结节，长在气管上，

been done. it is diagnosed by pathology. conclusion section of MRI report
should read something like "consistent with HGG in xxx area, GBM likely." or
sometimes "consistent with GBM." depending on how good the radiologist is,
the accuracy can be as high as 95%, it can also be much lower.

From the non-contrast enhanced CT head, which is not modality of choice for
