版上关心的AA等问题完全是只有SCOTUS才能解决的问题,跟谁当总统谁管参院基本毛关
系都没有。SCOTUS是总统推选,国会批准,历史上有因为ideology问题被国会拒绝的很
多例子,最近的有里根硬推保守派被民主党国会拒绝,这样才有了著名的swing vote
Kennedy.
美国政治局这些年的两极分化,跟当时被提名时的国会状态有很大关系。因为SCOTUS提
名基本不能filibuster(太重要导致filibuster很难有效),所以基本上只要控制国会
就可以推自己想推的人。目前Liberal的4位法官全都是在民主党同时控制总统和参院时
当选,而保守派的4位法官有3位是这样。只有两位法官在共和党总统/民主党参院时当
选,其中就有一位重要的中间派Kennedy。
我认为对华人有利的是更多的反对AA的中间派,我们不应该支持极左,也不应该支持极
右。右派把持下的SCOTUS判决的各种如Citizen United之类的法律也不是很好,反应富

罗得岛州(S0439),麻萨诸塞州 (H.3361),明尼苏达(SF2597),华盛顿州(HB1541)等法
案,并且在纽约市等地近来也发现有此类议案在酝酿。这一趋势已经引起了亚裔社区的

但是是高速刚上 又是堵车时候 就往前开开到接近出口了 我才进到中央的lane去确实
是到了实线的地方 第一次碰到这个罚单也不知道怎么弄
一让我交钱180块
二可以上school 190块的样子
之前听过一个朋友说过可以打电话给专门做这种的律师 即可以消point又可以免掉单子
我这种情况怎么做最好啊.... |

停车后发现来的路上一排水迹
趴下去看发现是车下面有管滴水,每20-30秒滴一次
不一会车下就积了很多的水,清水,不是油。
刚才查了下以前的帖子,许多前人也有类似的情况
大家普遍认为是开空调造成的。
为了排除这个可能性,我隔了半个小时又开了一下
发现水还是在滴。看发动机温度目前还算正常。
我回想起 前天开高速的时候压到一个 highway divider,
(那个divider 横在路中间,前面的车都撞到了,等我看到也躲不开了)
我觉得可能是这个把下面的什么东西撞坏了
请问,这到底是哪里漏了呢?
尤其今天和明天都是 holiday,修车铺都不开门.
请问这么滴下去会不会把水箱的水漏光啊???
后天还能开吗
怎么判断呢?

选租车公司的全保,忘了带saphire的卡,刷了citi divident。在downtown倒车的时候
撞到了电线杆,后备箱塌下一块儿,给chase打电话他们说只要一直用的saphire就可以
赔付,不知道这种情况当时刷的divident会不会有麻烦?多谢 |

卡,结果用的citi divident提的车。把车蹭了以后chase sapphire告诉我如果用的其
他visa还可以,但是master肯定不行,他们这个有根据么?Citi divident前后一分钱
也没被charge过,所以也不肯陪,说只有全部charge都在这个卡上才可以,而且好像
citi的是secondary,这样是不是只能走自己的保险了? |

于是没有考成。送我来考试的朋友因为公司有急事就先走了,让我自己开回来。结果刚
出来没两分钟,因为不太熟悉路况,cross了 divided carpool lane,被警察pull
over.
关键是我permit单独开车,很严重。警察开了2张ticket,cross divided lane和
unlicensed driving. Ticket上面让在这句话下面签字:without admitting guilt, I
promise to appear at the time and place indicated below.
然后给出了一个superior court, 出庭日期,没有具体的出庭时间。警察告诉我在一个
月内等一封court正式寄来的信。
前两天收到了信,上面给了好几个options, 要求我选:
