Some agro donk 4 bet me 46Xbb from big blind with AQo on my 16Xbb 3 bet. I reshoved all in 120bb+ with KK (it was easiest shove for me based on his stats). He actually
hestited (what a surprise) before calling. I knew my hand was good. But
hands never holds when you are on a bad streak.

I think the buyin is big deal. If you do not get sponsorship, one year's
buyin could be easily exceed 500k.
Even for me to play small buyin online, the buyin is just huge. I can easily
spend 500 bucks on one day for MTT only. If I get nothing, I just lose that
500 bucks in one day.
Online games, ppl said it is possible to lose 500 buyin in a big losing
session, suppose your average buyin is 100$, it is 50K downswing.

I play super aggro. I have one day down 17 buyins record.
Guess you play very cautiously, and those huge downswings will not hit you.

六月到现在一直很忙， 同时在五月底有个很大的downswing， 在rush poker NL200把
之前赢回来的输出去了， 所以暂时休息了一段时间。
这几天开始空闲了起来， 手就又痒了， 取了点钱开始上Rush NL100， 一个50刀很快
没了， 又一个50刀很快没了， 第三50刀起起伏伏， 最后终于碰见一个拿JKs bluff我
QQ的，涨到160刀。 最后一把79s， 搞死一对老K, 涨到$275刀， 收手了。
要把poker打好真的挺难， 从技术到心理素质全都要过硬， 能长期赚钱的才是真正的
高手。 我这种娱乐性质的， 本着小赌怡情的原则， 玩玩就好了。 |

struggling to make a profit for this month. Both cooler and variance of
playing preflop aggressively are catching on to me.
The good thing is that I am finding a few extra leaks and problematic play
now since I start to play preflop aggressively. I am making adjustment as
we speak. Have to find a banlance between spew and aggression as always,
preflop or postflop.

There are a lot of smart players doing exactly the same. Urindanger,
trex313, maybe they are asian. I remember Phil Galfond is up 8million,
without big downswings.
PA has discipline also, he will take a break after losing 600k.
Those HU specials are usually very crazy, will lose 25% of their whole life
winning in one night. However, I do not think our FCF will do that in his
life.

is better than nothing if it is just a side product (to my own surprise, I was above 500ftp/day before the idea of black card even came alive).
I have been lazy this month. already spent 2 night watching 3-4 hours of TV and did not feel like playing poker at all. Something wrong with me? lol still average 670 points per day though for the past 100 days. Maybe I need a vacation from this stinking part time job. Clim... 阅读全帖 |

这几天真背啊-----It applies to me also. And I need sit back and study the games against in case I have some big leaks. But one thing is for sure, I tilt from time to time. |

If a pot has a size of 1000 chips. If your equity at allin is 30%, you get
300 EV chip.
At the end, suppose you get 2000 EV chips out of total 3000 chips.
Your EV for this SNG is 66% of the total prize. |

guy, i watched about 7-8 games you two played, he made the right moves at a
very high % of times, and quite a few times, your hands got lucky (and he
still won the game in the end). even as an observer, i could feel (not only
smell, hehe) your frustration and tilt in the last two. forutnately he ran
away, otherwise even you could win 3 back, you may easily lose another 10 to
him. |

helped when I told myself not to push too hard. Just look at all the
money you have won the whole year. Relax, enjoy the game and try to improve
it. You will get better... The money is always there to be made as long as
the donk/fish are out there.

in downswings right now and yesterday i decide play short stack and only
play big pair ( jj+) and one afternoon i got kk run into AA twice, got
cracked by AK once. QQ, JJ run into set once each. Know it is normal but
it indeed put a big dent to my roll.

的MTT，那个搞一把deep的，比打几百个$20的super turbo都重要。
