发帖数: 54 | 1 大家新年好。本人矮挫穷吊丝。LD好不容易批准了$10K左右预算作为本人 toy car，买
不起新车。想跟大家讨论下到底是上手动版E36还是E46 BMW M3的问题。自己也作了一
些research，还是想听听大家的意见，尤其是2款车都玩过的朋友们请多发表看法。
以下是我的一点认识，如有错误，请随意更正。
E36似乎更少依赖各类电子仪器，机械部分比较简单些，维修相对容易。而且与其他3系
车大量部件是兼容的，所以维修可以说简单便宜。哥动手能力还可以，除发动机心里没
底外，其他的（包含手动变速器）基本都可以handle，实在缺工具的项目可以让garage
的朋友帮帮忙。网上有很多E36的忠实粉丝，认为这一代E36是性能非常出色的。E36的
缺点是服役年限已久，可能大大小小问题会不断。说实话，如果E36符合哥的预期的话
，就一直保留不会卖了。另外E36的马力和扭矩放在今日也实在算不上啥，不知道够不
够威猛。最后最大的问题是E36毕竟是90年代的设计，钢梁结构与强度是不是跟2000年
后的差距明显？网上似乎没找到什么E36与E46 M3钢板强度数据。但确实有很多人认为

with the normal E36, so the parts are cheaper and easier to get.
You might find some older E46 with higher mileage right around 10k, but the
ongoing cost is going to be much more than E36.
If you just want a normal road car, E46 is more comfortable with more power,
and look nicer too. But if you want a dedicated track car, E36 is cheaper,
and easier to work on. Many people swap their S52 to S54, or a V8(but that

10k e46 m3肯定不够。不过也许ZHP够了。不过e36的安全性很一般。
如果是toy car的话，为啥不上miata, S2000这样的roadster呢？

If 10k is max for everything included, thats not enough for neither e36 or
e46.
But lets say you can breakeven for maintaining an E46, then for a E36 you
can slowly save up for more mods, if that makes sense to you…
At the end of the day, they are still BMWs, and they are never cheap. |

replacement parts in past year. The owner is a guy I know. I want to buy
this car, and have fun as a toy for maybe several years, even though it
would be difficult to sell it later. The exterior and interior is very good
compared to other similar age E36.
Please help me to take a look at the stuff that have been changed, is there
anything also might need replacement? I will test drive the car next week.

先是OBD灯 P0136，bank 1 sensor 2的sensor circuit malfunction
我在ebay买了一个universal的O2 sensor，因为这个东西不影响性能，我这里又不用
inspection，花这点便宜钱纯粹只是为了让灯灭掉
换了以后还是有码，这次变成P1186，bank 1 sensor 2的heater circuit
检查O2 sensor heater relay没问题
检查接线没问题
怀疑是买的universal的sensor heater电阻和原装的不匹配，查新的heater电阻是10.2欧
很囧的是我把换下来的sensor扔掉了。。。那个heater电路还是好的，如果能知道原装
sensor 的heater电阻的话，自己可以把新heater的电阻外接一个电阻达到匹配的阻值
我也不知道上游sensor的heater电阻是不是一样，不想冒然动手
所以我来问一下，有没有人知道E36的M44引擎用的下游O2 sensor的heater电阻是多少？ |

里程一个在80多k一个是100k+
还没去看过车,有点心动想换车.但是只是听说老的BMW修起来很头疼很贵而且坏的东西
多.
但毕竟很多人只是听这个说法多了传来传去而已吧.想听听大家的经验之谈
比如大概有哪些地方这种年头了会需要换/容易坏的.
或者直接建议这么久的车不要碰了. |

fixed the flex disk, rear suspension mount, and replaced belts. These total
about $800-1000.
Other maintenance: oil change 3 times, get new tires. I may need to get new
brakes this year.

of them. E36 M3 at this age has rattlings everywhere. Some may be important
such as the rear shock mount, some may be not. Still it is millions time
more fun than driving, say a new ford focus or civic. |

我对宝马的车比较不喜欢, 但是对与M44, M42 (1.8/1.9 lite的四缸)却很喜欢. 就把
这两个engine拿来说说吧. 一般大家认为宝马的六缸是最好, 但是其实宝马做的最长
的是四缸, 斜放的宝马四缸一直是最著名的. M44/M42的最大的好处是reliable. 在法
国, M44/M42有跟美国的日本神车corrola一样的神话，就是开不坏．在美国去BMW club
的话，说起318(M42/m44)就是一个字，reliable． 除了reliable以外，m42/m44就
是好改装．M42/m44的header是freeflow header, 这一点改起来就省了一大堆事， 另
外，M44/m42的ECU很弱，其他车没有作用的改ECU, 改进气，在M44／Ｍ４２上都很有效

发帖数: 42 | 21 我的老车前几个月前方向盘开始吱吱扭扭的响，就好像两块碎掉的塑料齿轮摩擦的声音
。上网看了看，好像是老E36的通病，我这个已经算发作的晚的了。Dealer报价80-150
，根据网上的经验，有时候修好的两个星期以后又开始犯。想着给自己省两个银子，还
是自己动手吧。先看看方向盘转向柱的结构图。图中标示的7是方向盘squeak的可能原
因之一。因为这个位置不用拆东西，所以从这里开始一点点地排除。
买了一瓶喷的润滑剂，还有前些日子修厕所的暖风机买的膏状的耐高温润滑油。因为没
从车底下拍照片，只从上边照了一张，勉强能看到转向柱的一小部分。基本上就是要找
到转向柱从驾驶舱进入引擎舱的位置，对准了猛喷一阵，再发动车，转动方向盘到不同
角度，再喷再转，不幸的是，没起作用。只好进行第二部分，润滑转向柱的上端。
到这一步，方向盘是不可避免地要拆下来了，也就是在这里，我的一个疏忽造成了后来
的损失，肉痛啊。。。。拆方向盘和气囊之前，一定一定要先把电池断开，如果你的收
音机有security code，确定你知道，要不然断电了就没法子了。断开电池以后去干点
别的，10来分钟后再回来，千万不要带电操作，你不想在 |

有降级的人报这个category错误。窃认为奥本他们统计的时候，就是按这个code+ 国别

发帖数: 8397 | 36 e36的328is+sport pky + dinan suspension 开的不错，就是手动山坡上碰上堵车实在
郁闷，没有后门也不方便，于是开始研究。貌似最直接的替代就是e46 330i + sport
pkg.可是看了两辆，都是方向盘轻的一塌糊涂，suspension太过文明，路面上什么样子
一概不知，还不如我的minivan呢。我也不知道这个区别是e36到e46的，还是dinan的调
校牛逼。按说dinan只是换了几个shock，方向盘应该改不了。从e36到e46，bmw就抛弃
了driver了，真是悲从心来呀。e90俺也试过，更操蛋。看来zhp是我最后的救赎了！
真要这样，还不如上gti/gli呢，好歹有质保，省心。前些日子开了一辆新的base
jetta，真的是惊喜了一下。那个direct的感觉和老saab有些像。
大家说说，4/5门，自动档，方向盘要重，suspension要硬，开着有健身的感觉的车，
还有啥推荐？ |

外不容易找到确切数据。作为对比，现代F1赛车的碳纤维骨架扭转刚度一般在29800-
32500 Nm/deg之间。从这个列表可以看出，某些我们通常认为比较厉害的车子，它的抗
扭刚度并不好，这个假如用“省成本论”来说事的话，估计某些人脸上就挂不住了。
一辆车子的抗扭刚度不一定能通过“操控感”体现出来的。假如有人疑问到底toyota和
honda的车子这方面怎样？我也不清楚具体数据，因为这两家很少公布这些数据。只能
从一些文章的蛛丝马迹里找，比如说我读过一篇马自达开发RX8的文章，里面就提到过
RX8车体的抗扭刚性，研发的时候是按照Lexus IS来作为benchmark参考的。但具体这“
参考”到底是match，还是超过呢，这就不得而知了。

但我高速上经常被V6 accord camry一类的烟很正常
全新的E36拿到今天 0-60 肯定比现在这些V60 family sedan快。
拿到freeway上, 50-70, 70-90
我十年的M3根本干不过这些新车 |
