salaried means the poistion's pay is "salary", not "wage".
"exempted" means the position is exempted from certain labor
law items such as overtime pay. both terms are used to describe
what type of positions and the benifits to be listed are only
applied to these positions.
benifits are not deducted from employee base salary. to an employee,
those are additional values he/she receives from the employer.
of course those are employee costs too so when the employer is doing
the budget, those go to |

HR will process your paperwork and once the ADP Release is back, usually 2
weeks, we will send you a New Employee email that will go over all of the
information you will need prior to starting
但是现在都已经快一个月了，还没有收到任何形式的new employee email。请问一下版
上前辈们有没有碰到过这种情况？是否需要 发信/电话 去催催呢？

当时也没有注意，顺利投了份，今天说要电面，才仔细看了看原来不是employee。
工作是分析化学方面的。感觉自己投了不少简历了，都是science方面的，化学或生化
类的，好像还没有见过是招contractor的。
有没有同学有这方面的经验，这个contractor和一般公司的employee是有啥区别，在研
发类的工作中常见吗？是否值得一试呢？

Home Page Account然后还要填写上面的Visa Employee questionnaire。
首先，我想请问一下这个是不是用来办H1B的？还是入职前的check immigration的？
其次，这个questionnaire上让我填好多东西我现在都不好填，比如填current home
address和current work address。我2月10号才入职，下周才去西雅图找房子，所以现
在填了home address过几天就要改变了，还有我现在还没有入职，current work
address也不能填amazon（questionnaire明确说还没有入职就不能写amazon的地址）。
所以我本来想着就先不用这个Visa Employee questionnaire，但是邮件里写着这个
questionnaire必须5天之内写完，否者your start will be impacted。所以我现在特
