因为在Science专业要拿endowed professorship极难。很少有
人愿意在这种专业投几百万。好的商学院席位就多得很。工程
学院也不少。除了有钱的个人，很多都是大公司捐来加强和学
校合作，促进关系的。所以数学系里即便沃尔夫奖或者菲尔茨

effective Tuesday — the same day the Trump administration will roll out a
federal budget blueprint expected to make big cuts to domestic programs.
William Adams, who has chaired the NEH since 2014, announced his resignation

而且应该取消 legacy students. 哈佛名为私立，大多数资金却是来源于政府拨款。
哈佛的所谓 endowment 也是出款人交税之前 给哈佛的。哈佛 endowment 每收一笔捐
款，联邦就少一笔税收，其他纳税人就得多支付一笔税收。
