Here you go. You are welcome.
-------------------------------------------------
In the Bible, God repeatedly warns us against any mixing of races ... and
especially against intermarriage and mongrelization. Some of this has been
overlooked because of imperfect translations out of the Hebrew and Greek
languages in which the Bible was written. Let us examine some of these
passages, carefully noting the exact meaning of the words used in the
original tongues.
From the very beginning, the commandmen...

1 John 4:4-6
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who
is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the
world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world
listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but

Science!=belief and Science!=Truth
Truth may have broad meaning:
From Wiki:
Truth is most often used to mean in accord with fact or reality[1] or
fidelity to an original or to a standard or ideal.[1]
The opposite of truth is falsehood, which, correspondingly, can also take on
a logical, factual, or ethical meaning. The concept of truth is discussed
and debated in several contexts, including philosophy and religion. Many
human activities depend upon the concept, which is assumed rather than a

The Modal Ontological Argument
What’s wrong with the ontological argument? That’s something I’ve been
wondering. Now of course, as is the case with every theistic argument we
give a generic name, the “ontological” argument is a type of theistic
argument. I only intend to focus on Plantinga’s modal ontological argument
(MOA). The MOA appears like this:
1. It is possible that a maximally great being exists.

Rebuttal by Darwin's children (zz wiki)
Everyone in Darwin's family denied the validity of the story. In 1918,
Darwin's son Francis wrote that "Lady Hope's account of my father's views on
religion is quite untrue. I have publicly accused her of falsehood, but
have not seen any reply. My father's agnostic point of view is given in my
Life and Letters of Charles Darwin, Vol. I., pp. 304–317. You are at
liberty to publish the above statement. Indeed, I shall be glad if you will

Four Self-Refuting Statements Heard on College Campuses Across America
If I began this post by asserting, “I can’t write a word of English,” you
’d probably recognize the contradiction. My sentence betrays its own claim,
doesn’t it? Such is the nature of self-refuting statements. Wikipedia
describes such utterances as “statements whose falsehood is a logical
consequence of the act or situation of holding them to be true.” You might
be surprised how often people are prone to saying something that... 阅读全帖

来自主题: Wisdom版 - One more question on 生灭
When each thought arises, people instantly feel in certain way, and an un-
inquisitive mind may believe it as true.
Each person has an usual thought pattern due to childhood or other
experiences.
Until those thoughts are inquired, and the person starts to see the
falsehood of the thoughts, the person may never gain that clarity that
thoughts may not be true and we can choose our thoughts.

en. I see.
To continue your comments on the effects of these things, I'd say that they
do seem mechanical at first, as they introduce some procedures for people to
follow. Well, after a while, or perhaps a long while, no procedure is
needed any more, especially for The Work, which feels like an automatic 破5
蕴. I don't know to what extent it compares with the 破5蕴 you mean though.
I think that the reasons for The Work to work automatically are two folded.

Hi, JeanIris:
I noticed that you have a very strong opinion on what is right and what is
wrong. However, what you think as right may not be the only way.
"Without training, mindfulness can not happen here and now. It is not so
easy."
This is not so. Mindfulness is not something you can do it in the right way,
a thought on what is right and what is wrong is already not the mindfulness
. Mindfulness it total attention without any judgement.

来自主题: Wisdom版 - 心情很难过
I agree with the last three lines.
As to the first line, "干些您爱干的事情", it could be effective, and I used
to do that, but now I'd rather confront the sadness up front, rather than
distracting myself by other things.
Savor the sadness, emerge in it, and then discern the falsehood in the
thoughts to cause this emotion and set oneself free. The Work by Katie Byron
is one way to do this.

I doubt how many of them are real believers of it? As a group, most of them
are raping their own time, their own consciousness, and their not much left
soul together. This is how they become inconscious of truth and falsehood.
This is why they become indifferent and careless of anything. This is how our
country's hope and future is ruined in college, which is supposed to be a
place where truth and science is pursued.
