fever yet.
You can probably wait and observe at this point. Baby Tylenol is available
over the counter, and you can give your baby every 4 hours as needed. Pay
attention to the dosage instruction because baby dosage is weight dependent.
You should go to the emergency room if in 24 hours the temperature cannot
be controlled by Tylenol, or she is having difficulty breathing or she
refuses fluid (milk or water) or your gut |

, 不吃退烧药，病程要短很多（3天左右）。一般来说，如果小孩不是有febrile
seizure的体质，high grade fever (higher than 39C)也不用尺退烧药， 高烧的话，
好得更快，一般一到两天就好了。
吃了退烧药，病程就较长，而且会比较难控制，七天到十天好都算正常。两周以内不好
，要更多检查. |

seizure. Most of them will resolve when child gets older. The most important
thing is to control fever - give tylenol/motrin aroud the clock whever she
develops a cold. However, if it occurs very frequent, some pediatric
neurologist will give anti-seizure meds for a few years then stop it. You
should consult a pediatric neurologist. |

1) I am not saying you did not get strep throat, but by in large, most

and rheumatologic disease, need to exclude HLH (hemophagocytic
lymphohistiocytosis). It is a clinical diagnosis, criterias including
prolonged fever, hepatosplenomegaly, elevated LDH, elevated feritin,
elevated triglyceride. Bone marrow asparation some time can see
hemophagocytosis. It can be lethal if not missed.
Steroid will suppress any fever. |

除痛苦和不便外，拖一周不会有大变化的，或者需要细查原因的，找家庭医生或专家。
（如果已有家庭医生关系并且诊所较大，一两天内能预约到本人或同事也有可能，免
了去Urgent care多交钱不治本）

Just did a brief reading of WIKI page, I feel it could be related. The very
apparent symptom of her illness is the swollen of lymph nodes matching the
pattern of menstrual cycle, only this time there's a fever. I don't know
much, but menstrual cycle is related with hormone, right? Thanks for the
suggestion, I will definitely look for an Endocrinologist right now.
What test result do you want to see? I don't mind at all, but there are
quite a few these days.

Some docs will schedule a new appointment in 3-7 days or even longer,

hours to put down the fever. But you really need to watch the baby closely

20min. after taking the medication. Since the baby is having fever, the
water may be cold to the baby and it can help to cool down the whole body.

But you are right to send you son to see the doctor, because we have to make
sure if the root cause is virus or infection. If it is the former, you just
give him 泰诺 every 5-6 hours for his fever. But if the latter, they will
sign the prescription of antibiotics for ear infection or others.
For antibiotics, the best is oral, then muscle injection, the worst is 输液.

I am not sure, your doctor should of provide you the right amount on each
visit, because it varies depending on the size of the baby. Also try to
apply ice pack with towel, or those one time use cooling gel, both will help
reduce the fever. My son is having fever too, hope they all gets well soon. |

The blood stopped the next time I pumped, and I haven't had any fever, so I

娃烧了几天自动退了，耳后，颈部先出现红色小疹子，然后脸上、额头、后背、JJ周围
也出现小疹子，不是特别痒，偶尔抓一抓脸。因为烧退疹出，排除麻疹，估计是玫瑰疹
，给儿医打电话描述了下，儿医说可能玫瑰疹和stomach flu并发了。但是看资料上玫
瑰疹是先发于躯干后发于头颈，腰臀部巨多，娃腰臀上暂时没有，儿医说不需要忌讳什
么，让娃三四天不要出门玩最好。
打电话问我妈，我妈说叫烧疹（玫瑰疹俗称烧诊），耳后先出，后头颈，继而躯干，然
后手脚出齐就好了，让我不要喝鱼汤，不要给娃洗澡，但是我妈这说法完全是麻疹的出
诊顺序，娃现在四肢上还没有，搞得我紧张兮兮的。
update: thanks to all. ped said it is just the stomach flu. fever will
last for 5 days. diarrhea will last for 2 weeks. nothing they can do to

了儿医，因为我也发烧，儿医认为既有可能是我传染娃的，也有可能是疫苗。儿医说只

then why don't you let it fever (say below 105, everything is fine just keep
hydrated)
why do you still ask patient to take NSAIDS?
