标 题: 美西南石头记(8)——Little Finland (End)

Little Finland是位于Mesquite南边荒原里的一小片造型奇特的红色岩石的统称；得名
如此，不知道是因为这个地方首先被芬兰人发现，还是因为在芬兰有类似的地貌。我在
网上只找到了一个相关的德文网页，上面有简单的文字介绍和一张行车地图，几个叉路
口都给了GPS坐标。一大早从Mesquite的旅馆出发，一小段路后往南拐上一条paved的土
路，沿路右侧下面的山谷里一条河流时断时续。之后就进入广阔的荒原了，和前几天所
见一样：砂石、土地、零散的荆棘，除此以外别无一物，真是一片贫瘠的地方。经过的
第一个地标是whitney pocket，没有什么特别的；第二个是Devil's throat，从这里往

Finnish police are investigating a ship for carrying missiles and explosive
materials without permission while stopping in Finland en route from Germany
to China.
Authorities searched cargo ship Thor Liberty in Kotka, southern Finland, and
found 69 Patriot missiles with explosives and 150 tonnes of explosive
material called nitroguanidine, the National Bureau of Investigation said.

中间的段落可以这么说，

参观了芬兰（Finland）首都赫尔辛基（Helsinki）。
另外还坐船渡海去爱沙尼亚（Estonia）首都塔林（Tallinn）来了个一日游。

这次旅行一共参观了2个世界遗产：
在芬兰：
芬兰堡（Fortress of Suomenlinna），1991年。
在爱沙尼亚：
塔林历史中心（老城）（Historic Centre（Old Town）of Tallinn），1997年。
2012年06月06日（三）至2012年06月07日（四），夜从美国波士顿起飞，次日在法国（
France）巴黎（Paris）转机，然后傍晚抵达芬兰（Finland）首都赫尔辛基（Helsinki
），宿赫尔辛基。
2012年06月08日（五），白天xxx，傍晚参观芬兰国立博物馆（Suomen Kansallismuseo
），现代艺术博物馆（Kiasma），以及赫尔辛基市中心，宿赫尔辛基。
2012年06月09日（六），早晨坐渡船从赫尔辛基去爱沙尼亚（Estonia）首都塔林（

domestic use and they send cheap stuff to US. But I don't trust the made in
Finland comments since I never bought a NOKIA made in Finland though I know
it's technically a Finland company. |
