想，终于快了。果然，不到一周，4月8号收到了纸质的RFE。主要是三项内容：一个是
体检，一个人EVL，还有就是党员。前两个都在意料之中。但是关于党员，虽然有也所
准备，但是没有想到RFE的内容非常具体。我在申请的时候根据版上的模板已经提交了

经是党员，和以前其他人收到的rfe内容一样 （见下）。 副申请人出国10年了，没有

old maid WP is under me. she is transferring her WP to new employer. but it
takes too long (4 weeks).
new maid entered Singapore using temp WP (so called in principle approval),
also under me. within two weeks of entering singapore, new maid needs to go
to MOM to do thumbing and convert her temp WP to formal WP. but if new maid
changes to formal WP, old maid's WP must be canceled. because new maid is

自从我们去年九月去了东加勒比海7天游轮游之后，就一直计划着下一个游轮计划。今年三月的时候，换了新工作，所以又有了新假期，所以我们决定在五月底美国Memorial Day的长周末时去阿拉斯加坐游轮，这样可以省一天假期。五月底六月初去阿拉斯加正好，不冷不热，白天平均气温15-20度，晚上5-10度，这样还可以看到很多浮冰和这个季节回游的动物。
经过这次旅游，我们觉得到阿拉斯加坐游轮是非常好的选择，因为：
阿拉斯加地广人稀，每个城市都很小，2-3小时就能走完每个角落，所以不需要专门在一个地方呆很久。除非你想慢慢爬山，或野营。
阿拉斯加每个城市相隔都比较远，而且没有高速公里，所以主要交通工具是水上飞机。那样一个一个的飞，花费更大。
阿拉斯加的山山水水，冰川森林面积太大，所以从船上边游边看的感觉是最好的。

行业，大部分公司的着装都在business formal 或是 business casual之间。一张图胜
过千言万语，大家不妨把自己面试/开会/上班的打扮拿出来看看，也算是彼此帮助吧！
这次活动请大家展示在business formal and/or business casual的打扮，包括在办公
室的穿着，也包括参加面试/答辩/会议等的打扮；包括小白领上班族的日常打扮，也包括学生族的面试求助。具体要求如下：
1 - 必须是奔整套的outfit，必须有搭配。每个outfit要显著不同，照片一定要清晰可
辨。
2 - 为了互相帮助，建议大家在奔的同时码点字，大致介绍一下自己的行业和地区，以
及公司里观察到的其他人的打扮。
3 - 每个ID限开一个主题。
4 - 请另起新贴，题目请标明，［参加活动］。

牛仔球鞋和绒布的衣服在dress code里也不是放在同一档次里的
如果business casual，casual，business formal真那么好定义，公司就不用列那么多条逐项分析了，直接说三者之一不就好了嘛
事实上大多数公司在general rule底下还要分列说，这个可以，那个不可以，就是表明即使对business casual，各个公司具体定义也会有差别的
比如说capri pants，sandal，很多公司规定就不一样，有的可以穿，有的不可以
这种就是business casual的具体应用不同
就是business formal，有时候也会有讨论和解释说是不是一定要有jacket，还是blouse/shirt+tie呢。以前有的公司还认为女性西服裤装不算business formal，一定要裙装才算呢。本来这个东西就没有什么一成不变的rule |

HKer's Chinese is not as good as Mainland/Taiwan people. If anyone tells me
i speak or write Chinese like Hong Konger, i will feel upset, so far most of my
Chinese friends told me I speak like Shanghai/Taiwan people : )

是做中国研究的，墙上倒是挂满中国国画农民画工笔画等等，很鲜明中国特色。我是觉
得墙上挂一两样有特点的东西就很烘托气氛了。墙纸现在美国不太流行哎，比较老式的
家里有，新家装饰好像都不用。我最怀念的是我小舅结婚时自己装修小房间，用两块抹
布随手团一下，各蘸蓝色绿色往墙上拍，拍出来一朵朵蓝绿的花，还带布纹的纹理，很
自然漂亮又手工有感情。
你要不要拍一下你家墙上的各种装饰？地毯清理起来是很麻烦，夏天还热。
对，formal dining room也有用作家庭影院的。我家的formal dining room和living
room是打通的，现在是小孩的溜冰场，哈哈。

Webb跟我们说影响他最大的两个人是HCB和 Robert Frank。他觉得Frank很formal。
你觉得Joel Meyerowitz的cape light 算不算formal和诗意兼得的风景？
William eggelston 很诗意，但他的东西也公认的很formal。 |

Wirth syntax notation (WSN) is a metasyntax, that is, a formal way to
describe formal languages. Originally proposed by Niklaus Wirth in 1977 as
an alternative to Backus-Naur form (BNF), it has several advantages over BNF
in that it can be defined using itself, it contains an explicit iteration

我是一名化学博士生（欧洲小国一所国立大学），2007年秋季入学（此前我硕士毕业于
欧洲另一所大学）。开始导师是一名华人, 他经常只要求我晚上和周末加班。我工作很
刻苦努力，比实验室的其他成员都努力。2007年圣诞假期（包括12.24和25两天），他
也要求我做实验，却不要求其他成员。我还是老老实实地按他的要求去做。
一年发表了2篇journal文章[ IF 分别为3.8, 2.0， 其中一篇导师把我列为2作，其实

这个其实不是跟楼主对着干，这个是某种 formal system 跟欧几里德
对着干（这个里面都没有出现素数的递归定义）。
但是那个 formal system 的确也有本钱跟欧几里德对着干，因为
那个 formal system 不需要反证法，可以直接从素数递归定义
里很容易证明（我前面证明过）。 |
