在the calling of the gentiles这著作中，列举了三种自由意志：第一是感官的；第
二是精神的；第三是属灵的。所有的人生来都拥有前两种，而第三中则是圣灵在人心里
的作用。神学上对自由的三种区分如下：第一是摆脱必然性的自由；第二是不犯罪恶的
自由；第三是脱离悲惨的自由。第一种自由是与生俱来也是不可能被夺去的。而后两种

中華文化不怎麽談個人，基督救人脫離個人罪的捆綁之說多少讓華人感到是很生疏的話
題，我們明白的是彼此得罪的那種“罪”。所以信徒告訴別人什麽是罪，如何得救，最
好說得罪上帝和彼此得罪，以及與上帝和好和被上帝接納，大家就會比較容易明白。關
於救贖的教義就是：基督的降世為人、死在十字架上、復活，這件事使信徒得到救贖與
神和好。這是福音，沒有爭論的。至於爲何如此，基督如何做成這工，則有多種哲學解
釋，每一種解釋都構成一個學説。
昨天我讀了一篇19世紀遁道會的神學家John Miley 寫的駁斥有限救贖論的研究論文。
我現在來試圖翻譯這個救贖論的觀念，因爲在網上找不到有關的中文討論。有些神學辯
論華人教會似乎一向不怎麽參與，所有的辯論，我們華人信徒可能常常會感到不得要領
，聼起來似乎都有些道理嘛。因爲你會注意到，這個救贖論的研討都是集中在個人層面
上的：圍繞著選民個人的被選、個人的罪得赦免和得救，而華人的文化卻是把焦點放在
群體和關係方面的，研究個體事物的屬性不是我們的擅長。

请问天主教认为圣母高于耶稣了么?
非犹太的基督徒应该都被犹太教视为异教徒。圣经中的gentile指的就是异教徒，非犹
太人。
基督徒看犹太人可能会好些。
东方闪电和伊斯兰类似。伊斯兰说犹太的旧约，和基督教的新约都是被人们玷污的经文
，所以他们自己又搞出一份经文，说是唯一正确的经文。东方闪电也是否定了很多新约
的教导，然后自己出了很多经文说是唯一正确的经文。而且教导也有点像伊斯兰教，对
信徒管制很多。但是由于他们口头说信耶稣，于是不得不承认新约，但是实际中又不得
不否定新约，因为新约已经完备了，不需要其他的约了，所以估计他们自己也很困惑。
要建立一个合理的宗教，不是那么简单的。
摩门教就比较聪明，人家写新约的前传，把旧约里的很简略的故事写的丰富，这个问题
就不大了。反正圣经没写的，它可以随便写。只要不矛盾就行。只是这种东西，找个小
说家，可以随便写出好多版本来。我感觉没有神迹的宗教是不可能长久的。新约旧约的
神迹很多，你可以不信，但是起码人家声称是发生过的。
那些从来就没有神迹的而且声称不会有神迹的宗教，那基本只能靠人们盲信了。 |

犹太民族对基督教的误解、排斥，与整个民族难以愈合的伤痛有关。
伤痛难愈合
在海外的华人，特别是居住在美国东部及中西部的，多少会在生活及工作中接触到犹太
人或犹裔美国人。相处久了，发现他们极大多数不信基督教。他们至多承认耶稣是个好
老师，但绝非他们旧约圣经（犹太人称之为Torah）所预言的“弥赛亚”（救世主）。
我不免纳闷：耶稣不是犹太人吗？耶稣的门徒不也全是犹太人吗？新约的作者，除路加
医生外，不也是清一色的犹太人吗？甚至早期教会的成员，也大都为犹太人。那麽，为
什麽连我们这些被犹太人视为“外邦人”（Gentiles）的，都相信耶稣基督是弥赛亚，
是真神的儿子，而犹太人却反而拒绝呢？犹太人不原是橄榄树上的“好枝子”吗？（参

前些日子，我看见门口放了一个白色邮包。没有人名地址，没有邮资。
邮包上面的字样是："A message of Hope and gladness for Jewish People"
我又不是犹太人，这个邮包怎么放我门口了?
