Every now and then, someone will try to prevent a debate about global
warming by claiming that a consensus of earth scientists supports the
existence of anthropogenic global warming. Well, that so-called “consensus
” is imaginary.
In July of 2008, The Hindu newspaper (India’s national newspaper) published
an article titled “Challenging the basis of Kyoto Protocol”.

发帖数: 1657 | 3 首先声明，我不是学油工专业的，我是码工，但是由于本人学校比较特殊，我认识的所
有中国同学，里面大概有一般都是geophysics, geology and petro engineering的，
从我来美国，我亲眼见证了他们怎么一个个的去的大石油公司，而且并不怎么费力(至
少提前半年锁定offer，而且phd期间summer intern很容易就搞到，实习工资在texas
6k-9k不等，当然这个和他们phd做的项目都是大石油公司sponsor有关)。
毕业后，他们(PHD)大多从事的职位是geophysical scientist, geologist, petro
engineer, reservoir engineer(这个比较例外是一个本科学petro的朋友在从事)，工
资在不同公司待遇不等，Exxon给的最多(Phd 150k+/year)，其次是Shell,BP(120k+)等
，Chevron,ConocPhilips之类的不是他们的第一选择。我罗列的数字是我个人知道的，
也许样本有限，但是是真实数据。而且我从来没听说过有什么身份问题，h1b，绿卡根

不过转geophysics的博士很好啊，现在貌似很好找。最近几年这个方向很火，大家就业
都不错，貌似大油公司phd现在行情价就是12w+(3+四大牛人的例子)，四大油服也能给
到10w了吧(这个只是猜测)
个人看法：geophysics找到油公司或者油服在德州混比半路出家做马工在加州混强得多。
UT,TAMU,UH这几个学校都不错。 |

打扰了！
本人美国一个学校毕业，已经发了3篇SCI（porous media)，其中1篇一作，投稿了一篇
被拒(rock physics)，在写另外两篇地球物理文章（microseismic, 这两篇自我感觉有
相当大可能可以发表在Geophysics上，主要是因为工作量巨大、效果也不错并且理论上
也做了创新）。
我15年初离开美国公司回国结婚了，然后基本一直在家里做上面Geophysics的两篇文章
，期间主要通过微信和美国和中国的同学交流，去学校面试被鄙视了。无论如何，我觉
得还是写地球物理的算法代码是我的真爱。
现在想回美国，做个RA也可以呀，当然能做postdoc就更好了，所以请问大家知道还有
地球物理的教授或公司还招人吗？我主要是对理论地球物理方面的东西感兴趣，做的东
西都是一堆数学公式，其它的数学方面也是学的多一点。如果愿意帮忙的话，麻烦请给
我发私信，我把简历和联系方式发给您看看。现在的石油市场，让人感觉绝望呀。
我可能是情商比较一般，以前的学校有很多教授认识我，但是很多没funding了。

知道有没有想过我可能是一个driller呢？Drillers 可是经常跟你们接触的。嘿嘿。其
实我是做near surface geophysics的。这一贴就谈谈这两个问题。
我也是在工作的时候才发现有环境法律这方面的专业的，也逐渐意识到法律法规是这一
行很多项目的源动力。我想一般学环境工程或科学的可能上一两门这方面上的课吧。但
在学校里的没有工作经验的人，大多只是模模糊糊知道这一层关系，没有切身体会到环
境法律法规在工业界的重要性。这些法律法规可以说是工业界的衣食父母啊。所以说如
果你能在resume上除了洋洋洒洒自然科学的东西，再加上一些这些法律法规的东西，可
能会吸引更多的眼球，争取到更多面试的机会。你可能会说我没工作过，从哪里下手啊
。那你得谢谢wawa123，他在前面的帖子里给了linkin的链接，你可以到那里问问，应
该会有所帮助。
另外一个东西你可以考虑往resume上写的就是near surface geophysics （NSG), 或者
叫environmental and |

It is unlike in US, which has American Geophysical Union

，对不，这是对文章的理解，我们意见一致否？
如果上面的理解无误，那么我的引申就是，仅基于这篇文章，不是最严重的天灾导致了
最严重的饥荒，不知这个可认同。
至于文章的问题，看看你写的‘三’转述的，这是一个科学的描述么。选站是个有意思

前曾有人提出，在地下断层附近的地面上建设的大坝是引发2008年5月四川大地震的一
个原因。最近的一项科学研究支持了这一看法。
发表在10月底出版的《地球物理研究快报》(Geophysical Research Letters)的这篇研
究认为，紫坪铺水库和大坝额外带来的重量可能是引发这次7.9级地震的一个原因。当
时的地震共造成69,000多人遇难，18,000人失踪。
这份报告的五位作者说，大坝可能让汶川地震的发生提前了数十年到数百年。汶川县是
2008年地震的震中。
这项研究无疑给有关中国大力建设大坝的争论火上浇油，这其中就包括著名的三峡大坝
。已有约120万人因三峡大坝被迫拆迁。中国最大的这个大坝没有受到去年5月份地震的
影响。
批评者说，大坝劳民伤财，又不利于生态环境。政府回应说，大坝提供了急需的清洁能
源，降低了对污染严重的煤炭的依赖。

随着2009年11月 “气候门”邮件的公开，主流气候变化学术共同体遇到了历史上一个
真正的挑战，而一个月后哥本哈根本会议的“重大挫折”，又使得近年来气候政治的强
劲势头出现了严重困难，这都是近二十年来“气候变化”界未遇到过的。这两条战线的
机制和规则自然有所不同，但总体看，气候科学是气候政治的基础，所以后哥本哈根时
代的焦点仍然在气候科学领域。随着“气候门”带来的对政府间气候变化专门委员会（
IPCC）的强烈质疑，很多之前言之凿凿的神话正在倒塌，如长期鼓吹“人类造成的地球
变暖”（Anthropogenic Global Warming, AGW）的顶级科学期刊《自然》对IPCC报告
中喜马拉雅山的冰川消退耸人听闻的预测作为丑闻进行报道，就可以认为一个是标志性
事件

烟鬼正转，宽容一点嘛，lz蛮客气的，说得也还靠铺，不过不严谨
三峡尺度太小所以不会造成大尺度气候变化，yes，蒙对了，有人说不对噎，蝴蝶效应
的嘛，楼上对蝴蝶效应理解都不完善哦，啥子意思嘛？说有一组微分方程，里面存在自
由参数，这才是关键，某些自由参数的取值才会使得整个系统对初值敏感，我们的大气
究竟是不是这种系统根本没人知道，不过我猜应该不是的，比如中西部一个龙卷风居然
逐级扩大成新英格兰飓风接着是海上风暴海啸改变gulf stream的走势最终把百慕大吞
了可能吗？活在这样的地球上你怕不怕？你买医疗保险了吗？
尽管如此，小尺度就说不清了，三峡改变方圆两千公里的水循环是肯定的，蒸发和热力
稳定性都会不同嘛，对生态影响很大
楼上有个top 2流体力学phd说的99.9%都对，当然我泻露一个机密，这玩意儿跟普通流
体力学屁关系都没有，跟三峡这种尺度相关的那是geophysical fluid mech，很不一样

这人怎么这么SB,有点工程概念吗？他知不知道，要达到他所说的效果，需要消耗多少
水，需要多少超高压的水泵及电将水雾化。估计一个三峡是不够的。
更搞笑的是论文还被发在所谓的国际著名科学杂志《Environmental Chemistry
Letters》，作者是浙江省“千人计划”入选者，国家“千人计划”申请者（没有批准
），浙江大学特聘教授（待报到），美国北卡州立大学客座正教授俞绍才博士。
