来的深棕色的漆换成明黄色(Benjamin Moore eggshell),屋顶换成最白的白色(
Benjamin Moore flat),窗框和molding换成最白的白色(Benjamin Moore semi-gloss)
。一下子房子就亮起来了。从早上到下午7点，任何一个角落都不需要开灯，即时外面
是阴天。
当然，厨房朝北，我们backslash换成带光亮的纯白Porcelonosa,墙壁漆成明黄色(
Benjamin Moore semi-gloss)，也没有啥用。反正是厨房，暗点也没有关系。 |

1. Table top: 需要表面涂紫色，希望表面光滑
2. Another top: 需要表面呈现自然色，希望表面光滑
我现在做了一半：
Step1: sand top with 120 grit sand paper
Step2: spray semi-gloss paint on the red oak
Step3: re-sand with 120 grit sand paper
结果是表面还是有纹理， 不知道如何处理了。重复上面的步骤几个循环，未必好。
对两个table top 有什么建议的？
需要用primer, gloss-oil-based paint, stain, paint protector?

大致说一下就是
0.拆窗帘，挪家具，拆baseboard.
1.粗打磨地板，用drum sander，这东西很沉，需要两个人抬，注意一打开就得匀速移
动，如果停留在某个位置，地板就会被磨出一个坑。要穿厚手套，手上非常容易长水泡
。砂纸用36，60，120。
2.用belt sander打磨边角没打磨到的地方，砂纸用60， 120.belt sander也进不去的
地方就得用sanding block 或sanding pad手工打磨
3.optional:用disc floor polisher打磨细致。
都打磨完了就是做卫生。
扫把，吸尘器，抹布,tack cloth轮番上阵，注意抹布要拧得很干很干，否则地板吸水
会grain raise.
房间里要一沉不染。
上清漆的时候注意干净，长头发的要扎起来或戴帽子，凡是所有能掉毛掉脏东西的衣服
都不要穿。我用的water based polyurethane，选好自己想要的sheen,比如gloss/semi

eggshell是一般的光泽度，好一点的semi-gloss，刷厨房卫生间high traffic的地方。
顶漆一般就白色，墙漆用别的颜色，想亮堂颜色要选浅一点的，店里有色板可以比较。
还有trim paint，刷窗户门框的，semi-gloss的墙漆就可以，也有专门的trim paint。 |

不是lacquer，有点像是橡皮泥一样的东西。干了之后变得和木头一样硬。漆的颜色问
题你看看能不能从厂家那里得到答案。不然就只能自己去店里拿漆样子来比。gloss效
果可以用polyurathan点上，干后用最细的砂纸轻轻打磨平。还可以用点polish抛光。
不过可能直接用gloss的漆，加上打磨，抛光也行，不用polyurathan。你先试这样。不
够光亮在上poly
这些东西你到Lowe，HD，ace，或者你当地的hardware store都能买到。 |

担心甲醛，所以不考虑。如果你是装修自己的房子，还是考虑别的好。
如果你的budget比较高的话，我比较喜欢Porcelanosa的橱柜。当然如果你喜欢复古式
的就算了。
还有，很多的contractors都告诉我，IKEA的橱柜其实非常好，样子好，价钱也很低。
IKEA 有high gloss lacquer 的橱柜。如果你想要同样的效果，现在很多的美国橱柜生
