昨天（31日）揭晓的尼日利亚（奈及利亚）选举被世界瞩目。它不仅对该国具历史意义
，也启迪非洲其它国家，尤其是中东国家。而对世界人口最多、经济全球第二、却没有
选举的中国来说，实在是脸都没地方放了。让我们来看一眼那个非洲国家刚刚展现在我
们眼前的这道亮丽民主景观的几个特色∶
第一，尼日利亚人口多达一亿七千万，排世界第七位，占整个非洲人口的六分之一。这
麽大的群体一人一票成gong地选择国家领导人，再次证明∶只要有人群的地方都可以选
举。
第二，尼日利亚盛产石油（石油输出国组织第四大成员），是非洲最大经济体，GDP占
非洲五分之一。该国的选举（和结果）标志著，权力和平转移对发展经济、石油出口、

第三，选举结果是反对派获胜，现任总统下台。而且当选的是八十年代曾参与军事政变

上回说要写篇综述， 牛皮吹出来以后自己有些后悔，感觉有点太嚣张。俺现在也不管

第一，你真的是做faculty这块料吗？做发考题的有三类人：第一类：兴趣加上努力加
上天赋，使得你成为某领域的大牛。第二类：你有兴趣做research，是真心的，但是称
不上大牛。最多就是运气好，捡到一块还剩下点肉的骨头，自己和几个人在那里啃啃。
第三类：混混。你读博士本来就是为了出国；你找发考题就是为了对得起博士这几年和
自己的面子；你拿tenure就是为了有口安稳饭吃；你tenure之后这辈子基本就fei了。
