Suggest to reject the offer. Why? Package (not base) too low. No need to
negotiate.
What's next? Don't worry, Google will contact you half year after. In the
meanwhile, you can look around for other opportunities. Google paid a lot of
attentions for those candidates who rejected their offer.
BTW, there are many ex-googlers. Some are very good and some are very bad.
For example, Marissa Mayer screwed up Yahoo completely but Mohit Aron co-
founded Nutanix which was just IPO. |

上周才刚过了HC进Pool。Google一直是Dream，希望组里需要intern的前辈们能够帮忙
打捞！
我的常用语言是Java，C++，Javascript, Python。
因为本科CS，基础还算夯实，基本CS课程知识应该没有问题，
期间做过实习，出国前gap一年也有在一线互联网公司做过开发，这些主要是back-end
，Infra，和Web App, 对Java框架，数据库和API设计都比较熟悉。
本科到现在master期间，在校项目涉及web前端，安卓，ML，NLP，分布式等等，对这些
方向也都非常感兴趣。
能听话干活也能突发奇想，对实习的岗位和地点都没什么要求，相信在Google的任何团
队都能受益良多~
只要host觉得可以，我都愿意聊一下尝试一下。

谷歌社招每个人都经历多少轮面试。
很少BS behavioral questions.
基本都是做题设计之类。如果说某个面试官给女生
出简单题或是乱写评语是有可能的。但是几个互不相识的
面试官都同时放水是不可能的。
校招我不清楚。不过与其听别人瞎说，不如直接看数据。
谷歌男女engineers比例数据就摆在那里。diversity
还是远远不够。当然这个问题也不只谷歌一个tech公司有。
没必要只说谷歌。
我发现尽管现在每个谷歌员工都有接受过unconcious bias
Training. 但是效果并不好。版上current/ex googlers
很多都有unconcious bias issue. |

一点点。Googler大多坐bull pen或者是shared office。 FB大都是通铺。相比之下，
yahoo, oracle, ms这些传统一些的公司工作条件好的多。至少是单独的cube。ms每个
人都有office（至少我那个时代是那样的）。 |

我知道的情况，
在Amazon的时候：离家远，上班累，oncall，大概每个月oncall一周，这一周周末不能
出去玩，逛着逛着超市，突然就狂奔向车，开始工作。西雅图Amazon能报销上班的公
车费，还 有一些停车费，（如果你每天都开车上班，能报销的停车费不能cover cost,
因为还有 520过桥费，Amazon附近停车费很高，离得远点稍好），Amazon啥吃的都没有
，每天该 同学都是饥肠辘辘，到家跟饿死鬼似的，经常提到Amazon的企业文化：
frugal，就是节 省的意思。公司发的电脑很挫，显示器很挫，办公室办公桌很挫。
到了湾区google：离家近，上班没那么累，不用oncall，有吃的有喝的，导致该同学食

兴趣。另外，Google去哪个组还不知道。
现在，应该决定去Google。
然后，跟HR说工资能不能多少加点。HR的回复是不行，但是可以试着把offer转成
Kirkland的。但是她又说，那里的项目不如Mountain View丰富，考虑到
以后发展，要是只为每年税上、生活成本上便宜1万多，不一定值得。据HR说，转个
offer还挺麻烦的，不知道值不值得这么折腾。
所以说，想问问Googlers，Kirkland做的东西怎么样，有多大区别？有这么个对
Kirkland介绍的链接。

另外，想问后面怎么选组。我对database，cloud，indexing，distributed system比

直接进入了host match流程。不过现在已经快过去3个月了，给recruiter发邮件也一直
没有回音。
去年的internship很开心，受到了经理和同事的好评。也考虑过联系之前实习的host，
但是那个office在Oregon，地点非常偏远，所以今年暑假非常非常希望能联系到Bay
Area的host，希望毕业后能和在SF工作的GG团聚。
