attend it except my husband. It is so weird that I don't feel excited or have
any special feelings at all. Oh, it is my graduation cermony. That's it.
That's all. I don't buy gown for myself. Two years ago, my husband bought one
for himself so this time I just wear his. It is freakly huge for me. Yes, it
is huge. I have to wear a pair of 4 inches high heels to prevent the gown
being a sweeping floor tool.

"Wolf Kahan", Jonanthan Shewchuck spent 7 years before being hired, my bubby's
one partner spent 9 years already in EECS, just about to graduate,and one of
his own office mates is on 8th year, the other on 7th year, one other research
partner from EE is on the end of 5th year, not taking qual yet....

recently, and hope you guys with experiences could give some suggestions or
comments:
I'm in a Accounting Master programmer. There are not many courses
offered in this year. If I try to finish the program and graduate earlier, I
have to choose some undergraduate level courses which are big class size
and less oppotunity to earn a A degree, and I still need pay graduate
tuition.

experience in this area. Graduate earlier doesn't help that much. It's also
possible that you get an entry level job as an accounting student.Just give
it a try.
GAAP and IFRS are converging with each other. I think it would be
interesting to take a class like that. |

我是2010年5月毕业的，现在用H1b工作。我CPA四门都过了，有500强总部5个月tax实习。
有人说不是在校生或是fresh graduate就不能再去四大做entry-level了。
要去只能去national firms，之后过几年还想去四大，就面试senior level的
experienced hire。
也有人说，不是fresh graduate，只是不能参加on campus recruiting，还可以通过别
的途径面试。
那么如果有四大的朋友refer，还能去面试entry level associate吗？

告这样想的薄厚，你把你的眼镜好好擦擦，看清楚现实，才不至于作出和自己地位不相
称的事。
在很多实验室，大多数薄厚都是性价比最高的劳动力，而且没有student union的保护
。关键薄厚是临时工，尽管一临时就会临时好多年，也还是临时工。知道临时工是什么
吗？在国内就是专干脏活累活，待遇低，出事的时候”事故“肯定是临时工造成的。在
academic也好不了多少。有好多作假事件，最后都是某薄厚干的，”其他人无关“。
别以为graduate student挣钱少，就是最底层的。人家是老板的学生，跟老板不构成竞
争关系。大多数老板都对学生更好些。Technician/Research Assistant也是老板的人
，也许挣钱少，但是到点上班到点下班。还是老板可以长期倚重的人。我知道很多lab
都是除了老板，Technician 说了算。有的地方，graduate student 也可以在posdoc
面前趾高气扬。有的老板还帮学生抢postdoc的成果。
