地方看看，做个缆车看看。假如你去了Oregon Cave和红木公园以后有时间就用GPS先去
drive through tree，然后去万佛城。万佛城可去可不去

以前看一个老外写的加州游记里面说过一个叫万佛城的地方离旧金山不是很远今天终于
有机会去看了一下感觉不错大家要是信佛的话不妨去看看，一路的风景也很漂亮。万佛
城坐落于Ukiah离旧金山大概114miles。好像也是一个佛学院。我们大约1120左右到的
先去他的admin office register，给了我们一份校区的map接着就是self guided tour

住：（旧金山市里VS 机场附近）
老有人问旧金山住在哪里好，其实用priceline和 hotel.com找旧金山市里的酒店有时
候并不贵所以还是先看看价钱要是太贵住在机场附近其实很方便的，有很多价钱好的酒
店，我一般是先看hotel.com了解价钱，然后去酒店自己的网站预订或者直接打去酒店
前台（注意是前台不是800预订的号码）有时候他们前台的价格比酒店网站价格还便宜
。一般机场附近的酒店都有shuttle去接你加上机场附近的酒店离一个华人聚集的地方
不远。要是住的话我建议你找el camino real上面between Millbare Ave 和 San
Burno Ave 之间的酒店。（用google map 可以看看都有什么选择）。还有就是可以看
看san mateo,那里有酒店提供免费的接送到机场的服务。
旧金山市里的话我觉得Japantown有两家酒店可以考虑一家是
Hotel Tomo: 1800 Sutter Street. （每间都是有日本卡通特色的房间）

金门不用开过去，两边都有停车场。最好还是做big bus或者公交过去，人会很多。桥
就象征走走完事，吵，汽油味大，风还大。

The last time we went was in 2000, with a chinese bus tour from Vancouver -
Reno- Las Vegas- Grand Canyon,8 days trip , and hotels included . So we
didn't stay in 4 or 5 stars hotels.
We Stayed in Sands in Reno and Harrah's in Las Vegas.
The trip was $380 .
Grand Canyon was $75 extra.
Mystere , Cirque Du Soleil $ 82.50

1. Bellagio，俺目前去过的最好的赌场，各国美女多，越夜深越撩人，三五成群的黑
色晚礼服，超短目不暇接......
最小的4/8，全部桌子(L/NL/T)大概40张左右，人多，比较难坐上。俺印象最深的是，
去年第一次去时，不太懂规矩，在room外面张望了一下，结果一个老美JERK在桌上很
MEAN的朝俺笑笑，那桌正准备开始，俺看了一眼他手里握着的百元大钞，大概是7，8千
一厚叠.....那一刻，俺知道以后玩这个东西得知道有个东西叫“度”。
2. Ballys，俺在里面赌过几乎3天3夜，2/4和3/6，现在想想，第一天基本是送钱的货
。屋子不大，只有7，8张桌子(L/NL一半一半)，3/6是随时肯定有的。给JACKPOT奖励大
牌，俺玩的3天里，同桌见了4，5次four of a kind，奖$120-$300不等。
隔三差五有邀请赛，其中一天有上千人的，规模很震撼，2楼满满的都是五湖四海的赌
客。
3. Harrah's，几乎没有L的桌子，基本上都是小T，封闭式的屋子，很闷，空气很差。

Taj的那个得高级会员(而非最基本卡)。
除了上面列的有的，Caesars对于Total Rewards (Platium及Diamond级) members free
parking, 最基本Gold级的话$5，没卡最亏，$20，所以如果停它家的话，死活也要加
入或者赌场转一圈拣一张谁插在老虎机里忘了的(出停车场只是晃一下就行)，呵呵，最
好是有朋友有高级会员的，多印几张副卡,给你一个就是了。
同是Total Rewards旗下的Bally's, Showboat, Harrahs应该类似。不过未必停它们那
，街上稍微转转就有小的便宜停车场，直接竞争。
parking其实是小头，有卡主要是赚免费房间，以前讨论过，Borgata的Black Label最
爽最容易搞到即使是旺季周末的房间。其他Total Rewards的爱给非周末的。AC不象LV，
房间价钱很BT的，尤其是周末或节假日，基本没有任何DEALS的可能，动辄$300+，而且
娱乐设施/SHOW了什么跟LV |

1) TotalRewards
下面覆盖的赌场最多(甚至包括加拿大)。

作为AC常客，LV间或，TR好像是最应该积累的，两边都可以积，选择甚多。LV的
Caesars Palace, Ballys/Paris, Flamigo等等都是strip上位置不错的，高中低档也都
有。AC这边，Caesars, Ballys, Showboat, Harrahs四家位置也都不错。
不跑题，就扑克而言，TR只用每次玩时check-in，不用check-out，目前试验表明玩一
天和一个小时似乎没有区别，都是一个flat的基数点。爱积点的话，比较理想的似乎是
每家赌场都玩一会儿，因为离得也近，这样可以double, triple点数。
2) Players Club

TR的最主要竞争对手，主要都在LV，对于不是常去的，有点鸡肋。
覆盖的高档旅馆较TR略高一些，Bellagio, MGM, Mirage, TI等等，还有最新收购的
Excalibur等小兄弟。

Palace in LV, although they both bolong to Harrahs Entertaiment company.
guys around NY, NJ, DE, DC, MD, VA, PA normally go to AC, second largest
gambling city in the US, it has 11 casinos now, used to be 12 (Sands closed
recently), and will be replaced by Pinnacle in 2011. |

...
on avg., it's almost got hit every month so far.
casino collects $1 from every hand played to build this pot (after reset,
bottom is $20000 or so).

还是挺不容易的，以前有些误解。
最基本是你手里两张牌必须都用得上。
原则是输家的最小牌得是Aces over Jacks, 而且关键得是pocket AA(sssh以前也说过)
，所以AJ什么的是没戏的。
关于quads，也必须是pocket pair，而不能是比如A8，board上有888(你用A做kicker)。
所以这么说来要出bad beat，手里至少得是pair或者suited cards才有一点可能。AKo,
AQo什么的虽然好看却是一点希望没有的。 |

LIVE感觉比较实在，打人也很有意思，就是发牌太慢。

FTP or PS, then some live casino sharks like Harrah's or MGM will partner
with them somehow. these few "licenced" and big sharks will kill all other
smaller "illegal" sites, even they don't, tough competition will do it for
sure, like now, FTP/PS gets at least 5 figure players online all the time,
yet all others strive to get 3000.
gov. will take a big share in profits (like in live casinos), they just don'
t know how yet. |

but for harrah's, they want to get more advertsing income with this delay,
and it was successful last year.
for final table players, it's both good and bad...
bad:
1) their opponents will have a lot of time to improve against them. they'll
play against a "different" player;
2) for some of them, "running hot on a rush" now is priceless. if last year'
s main event was finished in july, i doubt peter eastgate can beat dennis
phillps, who was big chip leader then an |

july, because the minimum payout for final table was already 1M+, hehe.
yeah, sponsorship deals are big $$.
for harrah's, they don't care about who's the "best" player at all, they
only care about how to use this delay to generate more commercial revenues.

发帖数: 1621 | 34 其实赌场巴士的话, 在扭约的话, 同一间公司买票的话, 它的票一般两天之内都有效,
也就是说你用它的票, 两天之内任何班次的车都可以坐(只要有座位的话), 并不需要另
交钱.
象 Harrahs 旗下四家赌场, 就更方便了, 你的票子可能做四家赌场的车都有效.
赌场巴士的车就是不灵活, 但如果你住纽约, 或离纽约很近的话, 坐巴士去 AC or
foxwood 是不二选择. 自己开车去, 来回油加 toll, 至少 $50. 也就是说你还没有开
打就输 50. 如果你只是去打打 low stake 1-2 or 2-5 当然就不合算了. 再说如果你
要打 overnight, 打的昏天黑地再疲劳驾驶, 那就很危险了.
我现在已经很少去 Foxwood, 一方面自己赚的 comp 全在 AC, 另一方面就象上面说的
那样, Foxwood 去赚钱比较 tough, 会打的人比较多, fish 较少. 我去打牌, 赢钱为
主, 消遣第二, 有傻瓜鱼可抓, 何必自找没趣去找抽. |
