it's not easy to track for all tournaments, especially live ones, they're
organized by diff. sponsors, like WSOP by harrahs, WPT, EPT, APPT, ... for
big ones like WSOP, it might be fine to gather all participants' data, but
for other smaller events, like Borgata Winter Open or Nevada State

Harrahs AC. When I play online I also switch back-n-forth between small bet
and value bet because I know people are making notes on me and I wanna
confuse them.
Anyway if you think you are ahead then reraise in turn does not make sense
coz you may scare him out. I would shove on the river coz it's really a
small chance for him to hit a fullhouse on the river and with $70 left he
probably cannot run away.

周末我终于做了一个重大的决定，最近不再玩扑克了。也许，到自己年老的时候我还会
再回来，也许还会去报名WSOP。只是真的觉得太消耗时间和精力了，我还有许多更重要

fryking版主和这个版面让我了解并实践了网络扑克，感谢windstromm推荐的HM，真是

玩NL hold'em的经历和有限的实战经验，也对自己的扑克生涯做一个总结。
言归正传，第一次玩是在五年前老板家里感恩节party上，从此就喜欢上了扑克。06年
的时候知道姐夫去了WSOP main event还进了钱圈，于是经常看espn的poker节目，很向
往弹指一挥间千百万美元纵横驰骋的感觉。随后两年和LD去过两次Vegas，玩1/2 NL基
本上是break even还小赚一点，对poker的爱好也越来越浓厚。前年毕业到东部以后，

如牛毛，前几年炒作地产，现在大批的SFH便宜得要死，几万就拿下了...这样的地方花
钱住旅馆确实很亏。
同样赌城的AC就差劲很多，象俺是diamond级的时候，也就平时不要钱，周末稍微便宜
些，一年有那么几个周末不要钱而已。
total rewards会员好在Harrahs旗下的赌场遍布全国，所以积分，comp通用。
常去赌场不办个卡，相当于online不要rakeback，你说呢？
反正俺以前去，房间不要钱，再拿些不要钱的礼品卡，礼物什么的，最后用comp

发帖数: 15860 | 18 就目前两党还在为减税吵得不可开交，这个粗糙，仓促准备的草案通过的概率极小。
而且，这个草案动机就很坏，纯粹为帮助MGM, Harrahs这样的传统赌场集团"合法"的消
灭来自PS／FTP的竞争。现在虽然有UIGEA，也搞了好几年，但是UIGEA只能针对帮助存
钱的金融机构，连取钱都管不了，更没办法实质性的封锁PS/FTP，或者靠某成文法律追
究它们的老板ferguson这样的人。而一旦这个草案通过，FTP/PS跑得会比兔子都快，参
考它们撤出WA。
还设了什么要拿license，必须已经拥有5年以上美国陆地赌场，跑马场经营历史什么的
，这明摆着是要PS/FTP去死，太夹带私货了，就算FTP现在买个什么壳，估计也不算。
该草案也很不成熟，缺乏大量如何具体收license fees，个人税的细节，比如光说个20
%，这个依据是什么? 如何"保证"政府的好处等等，这个都不是三言两语能说清楚的，
反对的政客很容易就找到理由。
至于15个月以后的3年，控制只能美国居民玩什么的就更是无稽，缺乏说服力。
对于美国玩家也不是好事，SSN等个人敏感信息全部会被报告给IRS。

）贡献给了vegas。 只能说，holiday实在是玩poker的天堂啊， 有人说，如果你在30
分钟之内找不到桌上的鱼，你就是鱼，那么如果在30分钟内找不到桌上哪个不是鱼的，
估计大家都要笑歪嘴了。
总共打了3个session，加起来10多个小时吧，在rio和harrah's玩的。 运气不错(只给
river了3次），赢了1500+， 玩的是1/2，1/3桌子。 具体的牌就不说了，我这个人不
记牌，但是可以给大家分享点自己的心得（warning，这个只适用于玩live against
fish，用到online就是找死）
1. fish有2种， 80% Loose passive，他们喜欢看pot，有一点点牌就喜欢跟下去,只要
你的bet别太大（比如overbet）， preflop有broadway，88+ 就raise吧，但是如果2个
high card， flop miss你就check，他们会让你免费看，千万不要bluff，哪怕是cbet

WSOP这些年持续增长，其实是拜网络扑克和恰到时候的Moneymaker奇迹之福。在FBI
415行动镇压之前，FTP和PS这两大网站每年都要送上千的门票，无数玩家靠卫星赛,
cash game进入本来难以负担的10K高额buy-in。
作为WSOP这个品牌的拥有者和比赛的举办者，Caesars(原来的Harrahs)集团，虽然是收
益者，却其实只分到了蛋糕的一部分，甚至可能只是一小部分。
拥有来自世界各地的几千main event参赛者，如果包括其他非main event的比赛，更是
数万，那么多人不远万里，齐举一堂，people mountain people sea，挤在背靠背，汗
流浃背的大厅里，几百个dealers如无头苍蝇......固然是非常壮观的，可要说这事发
生在电脑，网络如此发达的21世纪，其实也是有点滑稽的。打个比方，如同Amazon花费
大量人力物力做广告推销某产品，末了却突然告知大家，这产品你们只能到local

数下来，俺打过的LV赌场有mirage, ballys, flamigo, mgm, excalibur. MGM的poker
room稍微大一点，其他的都很小，3，5张桌子，还比不了俺们现在东部的规模，这次去
打算再每天玩一家不同的，纯找乐子。
harrahs因为就住那，算主场了，虽然看起来也是个小poker room，但晚上哥几个要意
犹未尽的话，估计耗那的零散时间不少。
俺也是盼望中，未来这几周还不算忙，应该好混过去，呵呵。
养精蓄锐是最重要的，哪怕只是去玩，很多人白天辛辛苦苦赢点钱，晚上一昏头就搭回
去了，然后tilt，结果挖出个东非大裂谷。

，谈笑间，某女生带家属到达LV，电话中自称疲惫不堪，需恶补休息云云(你信么，反
正俺是不信)。
夜间俺摸黑下楼，直奔下塌的Harrahs的poker room，才刚过12点，冷清，稀稀拉拉2桌
，几个游客和老流氓在恶斗。不过半晌时分，全部散去，俺觉得还不过瘾，又故地重游
去了Flamingo，前年在这里拿了把royal flush，自觉福地也......激战一宿，高不过

说实话，感恩节的 poker game 跟一般周末查不太多，圣诞节就太不一样了。
好多外国游客过来玩，好多事向老大说的，像玩blackjack一样，找个乐子，lots of
easy money to make. I saw fish call big preflop raise with hands like J6o ,
hit two pairs and win big pots, in 5-10 NL games.
你要是过来，我们几个一起打几个tournament 把，俺也想试水一下Live tourney

发帖数: 1128 | 41 这次认认真真对比了一下VEGAS赌场的POKER ROOM。以前也去很多赌场玩过，但都没什
么印象，玩了也不知道在哪里玩的。这次算有个比较清晰的概念。
首先最好的ROOM应该算是VENETIAN。人多，宽敞，等的时间很短，工作人员，DEALER们
态度很好。COCKTAIL 小姐很漂亮，这个对男同志是好处。ACTION也不错。FOOD又便宜
味道也不错。饮料也送得比较快。还有就是FIJI WATER，特好喝。DEALER发牌很快，这
个以前不觉得有多重要，玩多了才知道太重要的。像上次HARRAHS的DEALER那样慢，玩
牌的心情一下都没了。
接下来应该是CEASARS。环境很好，房间很大，很安静，发现我在那里玩精力特别集中
。人不是很多，但这次因为有3刀每小时的COMP，所以人也很多。那里很多有钱人，1－
3NL，100－500 BUY-IN。 很多人都是直接买500的。记得第一天去玩，几乎每个PLAYER
一坐下都是掏出一大叠100的钞票，应该都有7 8 千的样子，玩了这么久，很少看到谁
拿出20的来买CHIPS。有医生，生意人，反正很多有钱人。从来ACTION都很好。记得第

就是女侠说的那样(除了凯撒俺没去过)，LV要打牌主要就是那么四家:V,B,A,C(C没去过
不好说)。
这几家，尤其是V，B，什么时候都有多张1/2这样的桌子，不象有些中小赌场，有些时
段不是没有就是一两张死气沉沉的。有些赌场不小，比如MGM，PlanetHollywood，但是
扑克人气很低。比如PH，就几张零散的桌子在一堆老虎机中间，很不舒服，玩的人也都
是些小油条小鱼，拿比如$100在那里磨，非常没劲。
V和B的条件好很多，有钱的也多。
Flamingo, Harrahs, Ballys这样的，桌子少，水平也不高，容易挣点老爷爷奶奶的钱
，避开个把明显是local reg的就是了。 |

顶头上司就是一根，网上(以前)，AC都玩的那种，可能不如俺们投入，不过已经是有瘾
了。
上司的上司也是，但据说极其输不起，玩什么都必须赢的那种。
老黑同事，俺看他在iphone上玩free game玩得那叫一个开心，结果人家说自己是AC
Taj的常客，主攻20/40 limit。
俄罗斯人，说的可能就是乱来的那种。
旁边一个小组的几个20几岁小伙子，整天就在tourney, buy-in, fulltilt，vegas的字
眼冒个不停。
顶头上司说过2周老婆出差，孩子送姥姥家，周末就是俺们的home game了。

I started from blackjack. You can get pretty good winning rate in
Blackjack as long as you can handle the swing and have good money management
. I would say under same BR, you could make much more money than poker if
you can find the right game and can play decent amount of time before
getting barred. Unfortunely , the casino are just too sharp and sensitive on
this now, it is very hard to get any big action if you are winning. I
