check/call one barrel, then what? no matter you/they check down or fold, you
're already paying the same or a higher price (than pre-flop raising), with
more risks and less reward involved;
2) even no ace on the flop, you still only have an over pair, limping would
"invite" a lot of other hands like 8s9s, 77, TJo |

Turn and River are blank.
What I think I did wrong: Call the all-in bet. I did stall a long time to
make the call and my gut feeling is to fold. However, there was already ~$
1300 in the pot in front of my set of 3. I eventually made the call. If you
ask me how I'm gonna do next time, I may fold. But, I really don't know.

usually SB/BB) re-raises, after that, the limper calls.
that could be a very strong signal for AA/KK too, although generally he "
should" raise again. but u know, people vary how they play a certain hand.. |

act on pre-flop raise I would say a flat call is reasonable. But player B is
the last one to act indeed. With three caller of $12 how much confidence do
you have in terms of his KK is still good after flop? What if the flop is
AXX or XX3 or XX7 in this hand?
FYI I had another hand of AA and called the pre-flop raise because I was the
first to act on this raise. And I won big on that hand.

1) raising with KK would narrow down your opponents' hand range. we don't
want to give As8s or 66 a cheap limping chance here. if they call, we'll not
get the best info. but much better than no info. at all;
leading out on Axx flop is good, but since we got no info. pre, here we're
just doing a probe bet, we can hardly represent something strong (and yes,
we're not indeed, hehe). if somebody raises us, it might actually be better
than somebody (or a few players) smooth calls;

次都给 burn. Live game 的人都比较 loose, some time the flop is K 3, 5, 你认
为人家有一对 K 而已, 而人家可能手里拿个 K, 5 变成 2 pairs. 在我身上发生好多
次了.
我现在很讨厌拿 AA, KK, AK. 一般现在都是 preflop big raise, 决定 kill action,
or play against one player at most.

1) A is not check raising with a Kx hand. 77, that's a little surprise to me
though;
2) B'bet is interesting, not protecting a weak Kx hand, but building a pot
and with enough outs even somebody chases flush big;
3) standard ABC poker, with $12 AKo pre.
yeah, bottom set works best in HU situations, where your opponent has a very
narrow range, and you have a high stacking opportunity.

Limp AA/KK@UTG is optional as well as open raise with junk@UTG. Sometime I
do raise or limp/reraise with 92o etc@UTG in tourney early/middle stage.

are not in a raise and reraise war. 我在 1/2 NL game 中, 通常会很高兴 call
$2- $15 之间的任何 raise, in multi way or deep stack situation, it is ideal.
比起令人讨厌的 AA, KK, AK, 这些 small / medium pair 属于风险低, 收益大的. 你
看到 flop 有很多 overcard, 而你没有变成 set, 又有人 bet and sb call, 你就直
接 fold 就好了,一般不会有什么遗憾, 而一但你运气好, 变成 set, 一般都能赢很多
钱, 很多时候都能 double up.
当然, 倒霉的情况就是 set over set. 如果你 flop set 不赶人的话, 人家中等的
pocket pair 可能在 turn 或者 river 变成 set, may cost you the w |

two players pushed all-in. To me that was an EASY fold.
Two strong reasons to fold your set of 9: Cards and investment.
I have already invested $112 in this hand with $268 left on hand. I do agree
that I should fold all-in bet but it is a much tougher decision than yours.
As Happyness said, I was sandwiched to death on this hand.

i paid about $400 for flight ticket, but wife got a free one from mileage
account. it's half poker for me, and half family break, so i'd go. otherwise
, AC is much cheaper, lol.
i could get $220/night (damn, was $130 and i didn't like it) for caesars on
fri., free for sat. and sun.
or otherwise i can get free rooms at ballys, flamigo, rio, harrahs for all 3
nights.

he c-bet $20, i called
TURN: 9h ($65)
he bet $50, i called.
RIVER: Kh ($165)
he bet another $50, what should i do here? he got $250 and i got $180 left.

at this time (even before the crazy blizzard), all casinos looked pretty
empty... but you'll see long waiting list for poker. some went as long as 28
players waiting for $1/2 game, and 10+ for $2/5!! i've played in AC for
almost 3 years and never seen anything like this, even when economy was
better.
everyone was talking about the badbeat jackpot. for caesars, it's the
largest now for $360K+, harrahs got $220K+. both poker rooms are 100% full.

以前一直玩live cash game，12月20，21日陪LD去Atlantic City，终于在Harrahs打了
第一次live tourney。晚上8：15开始，三十人的小比赛，68+12 buy-in，前五有奖（
第一$891，第二$506）。最后剩俩人的时候chip leader说太晚了不想玩了，他拿第一
我拿第二不过他再给我100（他的chips是我的5倍）。我一想这也还算公平，再说打了
快6个小时也有点累，就握手言和了。
总的来说运气还不错，中间剩8BB的时候all-in badbeat了别人一把（22 at button vs
. AA at big blind, got a deuce on the flop），也被badbeat过几次不过还算正常
。估计以后还是会玩cash game多一点，觉得心情轻松一些而且好像更profitable。
回到宾馆房间里发现LD早已睡的不省人事。 |

。AC也是如此，Harrahs集团赔惨了。上次KKRUN和俺去玩的同感就是，现在赢点象样的
钱真不容易，呵呵，也许俺们就是鱼吧；
2) sample size很小，导致正或者负的variance都偏大。live平均每小时20把牌，一天
正常"工作"时间８小时，也就是不到200把。参考平均220把才有一把AA，可以想见。
online因为可以同时N桌，每桌也至少是live的4, 5倍速度以上，也就是说，一天下来
，以4桌计算，是200把和4000把的巨大区别；
3)live比较死板，不一定能让随便换到你想坐的桌子，位子。赢了cash out的话，一小
时不让回来，回来也不一定还给分配在这桌；
4)live比如最低级也最流行的1/2NL，一个比较客观的标准是长期维持$15/hr就是很不
错的战绩，也就是说一年2000个小时，3万左右是正常的标准。再高级别的，一是 |

me: ~$550.
我大概在Buttom位置手上KK。UTG+1 raise到$7，UTG+1 reraise到$20，看上去象是一
个大的pair，也可能是AA。为了隐藏实力我call，UTG也call。Flop三个小牌都小于8，
UTG+1 raise $50，我call，UTG fold。Turn又一个小牌，UTG+1 raise $100，我 push
all-in，其实这个时候我已经隐约感觉到他可能真有AA，当然也有不小的机会他有QQ
以下的对子。为了安全起见我push all-in，希望他能以为我是小pair已经hit了set。
很不幸的是他想了半天还是call了，手上AA。这一手牌刚好把前面8小时赢的全部输掉
。:(
Think back: 如果我re-raise 他的$20 bet pre-flop，他多半会re-raise到all-in，
我也多半会fold，呵呵。

they didn't split players to other harrahs casinos. in a hot summer, some
tables had to be moved outside.
WSOP needs some serious planning work:
1) a better way to register, last years, hundreds of players got shut out on
day 1d because they tried to catch last minute, while day 1b and 1c had
plenty of seats;
2) be able to handle more players, it's a big hassle with thousands of
players and hundreds of tables around, can't |

will give you comp dollars, free rooms, etc. and the same card can be used
in AC, LV, lake tahoe, and many other harrah's sites.

likely.
i used to get such weekly deals over and over again when i was diamond,
cooker, grill tools, jackets, $25 giftcards... all around the same value for
your gas+toll, seducing you to go for "free".
now as a gold basic member, i get $5 slots coupons! go hell caesars! i use
all my comp dollars before i leave every time now, since i really have no
idea when, if any, will be the next time.
