个月的还是18个月的科研，有的就规定要做18个月的科研。而且做科研的时间是完全不
去临床的（protected time)。那我就想其实真正的临床培训只有头一年半，如果又要
solid tumor,又要hematology，又要bone marrow transplant到处转，那来得及学吗？
刚学了一点，做了1年半科研，不是又都忘记了吗？我在面试Columbia的时候就有这个
顾虑，他们好像太偏基础了一点。有没有讨论一下？ |

Tufts has a very good tradition. Its ex-chairman founded the first hem/onc
fellowship program in the whole nation and he was also a founder of the
magazine BLOOD. He also managed to place a lot of his trainees to different
hem/onc programs and later on they became head of these programs. In the
1970s and 1980s, it has a NCI designated comprehensive cancer center. And

2. Senior病人比较多，但是workload不高，比较elegant
3. 但面试是我经历最差的几个之一： 一天30多个candidates，大部分是AMG，无论
申请p还是c。每个人被分到一个面试官，谈话20分钟左右，大多数时间是等，而且那么
多人，加上一些residents，像下饺子一样。记得面我的时间应该是11点，但12：10才
进门，差点没赶上noon conference。后来一起搭车的一个AMG说他和另外一个
candidate被一个GI attending面，那个家伙居然边做肠镜边问问题，而且两个人都在
场，汗！像风jj还是soap jj所说一个pg对candidates好坏就能看出他们对residents怎
样。所以我义无反顾滴将他们排在了rol的末尾。

3个月的BMT，leukemia，病人非常多，非常重，病房是ICU配置.

refill meds等事情很多事情还是要自己处理。因为忙，所以看书时间少。

近些日子，中国血液学界内流传着一个关于严重论文抄袭的事件。矛头直指
山西医科大学第一附属医院和第二附属医院血液科。
事情的经过大概是这样的。山西医科大学附属医院的一位医生从Blood（血
液学的权威杂志）杂志上拷贝加工了一篇2007年发表的论文（PMID: 17585052），
投稿到Journal of Hematology & Oncology杂志上。该杂志的主编是个华人叫刘
德隆。要说在国外创办杂志也不容易，起初这个杂志的影响因子并不高，但是这
两年投稿的人多了，水涨船高，影响因子有攀升的趋势。
话说德隆主编收到论文后大喜过望，果真是一篇好文章。他没有山西作者提
供的同行评议者（reviewer）送审。而是送给了更加接近该文章涉及领域的专家。
没成想，这一送不要紧，合该山西医科大学这位仁兄倒霉。德隆大主编送审的专

From the top of my head, I know California, new York,
florida and illinoise require license to practice. Current starting salary
for med tech new graduates in new yorkis between 45000 to 50000 a year. 4

么高薪职位， 但应该好于我目前的职位。
所以想质询各位， 以我的背景我有资格申请ASCP or AAB 提供的certifying
examination吗？
考试内容是综合性的吗 （包括Blood bank; chemistry, hematology 等）， 除了BOC
study guide 这本书，有没有其他资源可用来准备考试？
