foreign singers' tapes were always 13 cny...pretty much 1 kuai per song le..
dont know why foreign singers' tapes were more expensive..tax?? |

发帖数: 364 | 7 在板上做了一下简单的research,似乎大家普遍觉得从学区来说，
Wellesley >= Lexington > Newton > Arlington
但是在greatschool上， Wellesley和Newton(south)的highschool 都是9分， 小学和
初中很多都是7分和8分， 而Lexington基本上所有小学初中高中都是10分而Arlington
小学初中大部分9分以上，高中也是9分。
这个是什么原因呢，谁给讲讲？尤其是Wellesley,为什么这么highly regarded啊
BTW: 我这纯粹是新手问题，没有任何挑起地域争执的意思，谢谢。 |

Naperville是不错，但肯定不是最好的。不说那三个magnet school，跟学区无关，北
边的Winnetka, Lincolnshire, Deerfield, 都比Naperville要好吧，Hinsdale也比
Naperville要好。不过这些地方的房子要贵太多。Naperville 40万的房子又大又新，
那些地方动辄6,70万的房子还都是又小又旧。
有时候在想这个学校的排名，有多少是因为生源的问题。昨天晚上和朋友吃饭，说他们
在DC边上的一个学校，由于大量中国和印度家庭的入住，考试成绩一下子就上去了，同
时，体育成绩一下子就下去了。:( |

六十万上下了，有朋友买了个shortsale的，05年2.8m建的，1m买了。当然那
highschool不是nvhs. |

俺参加过一个会议，就一个AA Ph.D上去发了个言，不知所云啊，底下很多人都在笑话
他，种族歧视是有原因也客观存在的。当然俺们公司有两个AA算是自立自强的典例，
EARNED MY RESPECT，个别例子区别对待。 |

的，无数老中，只有5-6个哈佛，一点也不高，hinsdale基本一直有3-4个。 那个
Huntee 也是

发帖数: 1422 | 26 update: naperville204观念比较落伍，没有college matriculation统计。今天从毕业
生父母那知道204三个high school中，排名相对其他两个偏后的那个waubonsie
highschool，今年三个去harvard, 两个亚裔，一个老美。一个去stanford的学习不错
加网球打得好。aurora的IMSA今年俩去harvard的。西郊确实是养娃好地方。

发帖数: 141625 | 31 我们上周六去看，是night rainbow的最后一天。先开到East Rock想上山看，可惜警车
挡道，日落以后不让上。只能开到Orange St上。没想到遇到很多人，大部分开车过来
，聚在桥头看；还有一批人骑自行车，穿街走巷寻找好的角度看。难得晚上这么热闹，
大家都仰头望天，赞叹亮丽夜光。按朋友提供的tips，果然是从桥头附近的Wilbur
Cross Highschool后面的停车场看得最清楚，视野宽阔，没有树枝和高楼的阻挡；还有
从Humphrey St的楼房之间看细细的一缕“彩虹”穿过，也很别有洞天。蓝光绿光最清
晰；红、橙、黄光弱。青、蓝、紫这三道光看起来一模一样，没有颜色区别。

know who go to private highschool are in this school. It took most of them
several times to pass their entry exams. Used to be very hard to be
accepted. But heard it is easier now because of the economy recession.
I know there is a huge Christian private school near Beaver Ruin road. But
the parents whose kids in Westminster said it is not good enough. |

only do strength and footwork excises.

Highschool学区的房价合理多了。Tustin那个Beckman比University和Northwood差点，
比Irvine High好，房价也比它合理，买不起Univeristy学区房子的完全可以去看看
买房子也不能光看房子好坏，房子本身没有地皮值钱，地皮值多少钱还不是看学区。五
六年前有人不care学区好坏，鄙视Arcadia/Temple city房子旧，看上Rancho
Cucamenga房子新，地大，赶上高峰期买到那里，现在房价跌了快一半了

The temperature: Agoura Hills is lowest, Calabasas (lower than Woodland Hill
). Usually Agoura Hills is about 10 to 20 F lower than Woodland Hill. Why
don't you check the weather.com?
School Districts: (Check greatschool.org site)
Wesklake Village, Agoura Hills and Calabasas are the best! 3 cities'
highschools are the best, 10/10 or 9/10.
Woodland Hill is not a good area. Well, it depends on which area you live.

have enough base mileage. I mean his weekly mileage is not enough and he's
not used to this distance.
He was a fast 1K runner and he wants to get back to his peak in highschool
or college, which is impossible. In our age, we can run longer, but not
faster. And he picked a wrong race which is against his regular training. He
should run 5K/3Miles instead of a 10K race.

I used to live in Bergen County. Many of the schools in the northern part of
Bergen County such as Ridgewood, Old Tappan, Paramus, etc, fit your
description. I graduated from River Dell which is shared by Oradell and River
Edge. It is also a pretty good school. I remember one of the top schools
there was Tenafly. They got a bunch of very competitive math students back in
