story.
How old is he? if he is still younger than 15, then he can go to another high
school for a year (9th grade), and try to get into Stuy in 10th Grade.
But if not, then Stuy/Bronx Science/Brooklyn Tech are out.
There are a few other good schools in NYC:
Townsend Harris, Midwood are two of them.
As for NJ, there are some good schools in Bergen County, such as Fort Lee High
School, Tenafly High School and Leonia High |

華裔學生眾多的貝賽高中是全市高中生除了特殊高中之外的首選。根據市教育局最新公
布的數據，今年共有1萬4521人申請入讀貝賽高中，是除了特殊高中外，申請人數最多
的學校。這也是貝賽高中連續第二年成為初中畢業生們的最愛。
根據Bayside-Douglaston Patch的介紹，算上特殊高中，貝賽高中的申請人數也排在了
第七位。僅次於史岱文森高中、布碌崙科技高中、布朗士科學高中和城市學院數學科學
與技術高中 (Highschool for Mathematics, Science and Engineeringat City
College)等。
位於貝賽高中附近的法蘭西斯路易絲高中成績也不差，收到了1萬1101份的申請。但過
往被華韓裔追捧的卡多索高中卻不理想，只收到了5527份申請。
這一結果和三校近年來的表現吻合。根據2012年全市公立學校進步評鑑報告 (2012
School Progress Reports)，貝賽高中從2010年至2012年，表現一直在進步，在全市高

发帖数: 10422 | 16 Washington PA 的确是个小 town，是个穷人呆的地方。
市区里房子都很破旧，除了 Washington & Jefferson College，没几座像样的房子。
不过，感觉这里的人生活都很悠闲。。。。。。不过 Washington 外围都是大农场，都
是 million - billionairs。
当然，这里消费水平也低。而且税也低。$65K 绝对高薪了。。。。。。
这里中国人少，中餐馆也少，都是美式中餐，而且在美式中餐里质量也算差的。
如果要考虑孩子上学的问题，建议住在 Washington 北边的 Upper St.Clair 或者
Peters Township，那里的 highschool 不错，Upper St.Clair 的比较好些。（
Washington 到 Peters 大约 10 miles，到 Upper St.Clair 大约 15 - 17 miles）

中差了。
据不少中国人说，再往南边的 Peters twp highschool 现在也很好了。。。 |

家。
或者，住在 Mt.Lebnon 或 USC，开车去 15215 上班。路上一小时算快的。
你想住在15215附近，又想上 Mt.Lebnon 或 USC Highschool 是不可能的。看一下地图
就知道了。 |

等不晃了，和ld提了急用箱，里头有重要文件之类的东西
结果邻居们都是空手下来的，站在院子里头聊天开玩笑，没事似的
再后来complex发生火灾，我老人家在家赶final的paper，毫不动摇的等到别人来清楼
，然后我老人家被两手空空的赶到大街上，就带了个手机，然后接到某同学在北卡机场
打来的电话说“老婆，我看到我们家appartement发生火灾了！”
然后就后悔没提箱子下来了，12月份的晚上，大街上好冷啊！后来去了街对面
highschool的stadium避难，吃了american red cross送的pizza
现在碰到这种情况还是趁侥幸心理，呆家里不动，就算出去也是两手空空 |
