the bay area schools to compete with east coast big names.
One of the biggest advantages of east coast schools is that
they are close to political, financial, or culture centers
of this country.
For example, highschool interns are very important these
days to get in top-tier colleges. Bay area students are hard
to get a decent intern experience.

they really do not come across as smart kids, all of them kind of just bum
around, many look quite ugly. on back-to-school day, the school organized a
choir singing on their lawn, it was very badly organized, the performance is
super amateur.
now I see that a score of 6 really means bad.

你的第一个问题其实随便在本论坛搜索一下就能查到。请见下面。可以看到除了一所最
好的私立，其他的都没有进入第一梯队。为什么拿UCBerkeley而不是哈佛斯坦福比，是
因为哈佛斯坦福录取人数就那么几个，数据量太小。

的 lakemont. 两个房子的价格一样。
北边的房子新， 漂亮些， 但学区是 Redmond high school. 从网上查， 这个高中不
怎么样。 有的说这个高中前几年还好， 就这一二年差下去了。 我的孩子还有几年才
上高中， 不知过几年会不会好起来？
lakemont 在Bellevue,确是 Issaquah 学区。 看似 Issaquah high 还不错。
另外 大家觉得 这两个区其他方面对比怎么样？ 生活方便之类的

发帖数: 360 | 48 我个人认为啊，就事论事，评高中就分数挂帅，不整那些说不明道不白的利个楞。
东区公立高中目前显然是newport最好，然后是skyline，而且趋势很不错，别忘了
asian比例远不如newport, 但是还是不如newport。mercer island都靠后了，bellevue
不知道这几年怎么整的一直走下坡，还不如房子远便宜的地区。
当然学区不是买房唯一考量。 |
