加州大学系统中的亚裔学生比例过高，要求限制亚裔学生入学比例，提高非裔和拉美裔
的入学率。加州参议院1月30日以27票赞成对9票反对通过了SCA5提案。SCA5提案将于近
日被提到加州众议会再次投票。如果众议会投票通过，SCA5法案将于今年11月举行公投
。一旦提案公投通过，加州公立大学亚裔学生比例将从现在的40%下降到15%，那么亚裔
孩子在大学中势必受到排挤
加州大学前校董李心培表示，关于学校招生中存在的种族比例问题早在20年前就存在争
议。这次SCA5提案投票中，加州三位华裔参议员均投了赞成票，这让身为李心培很不能
理解。他称，亚裔民众推选他们出来，就是希望他们能够在关键时刻维护亚裔居民的权
利，保护我们的利益。而这次提案的投票中，他们非但没有保护亚裔居民，反而倒向另
一边，支持减招亚裔学生。无论他们抱有什么政治目的，都不能以牺牲亚裔居民的利益
作为交换。

，从外科手术到艺术流派，anything you can think of , you can find an episode
about it，more or less :)。一期节目通常3－4分钟适合attention span较短的成
年人，especially小孩子。同时还有相应的文字和图片配套，对应的参考资料。 非常
不错liberal education 的材料。我个人也觉得这是个不错的旅游companion:)
在美国的朋友很多广播电台carry这个program, 外地的也可以通过互联网听，or
podcast from ipad, ipod,iphone.

目前情况是这样的。做project遇到个新同事，第一次合作之后，大家互有好感，他问

yet he felt he was given a hard time when it was pointed out to him. He
should have humbly accepted that he made a mistake, that he has a lot to
learn, and he would definitely seek out guidance from the interviewer once

some are terrible, just like in China. The real problem is that the young
kids have no idea of the real world but unreasonable expectation.
If you live in other's house for too long, you will be annoying. If you
visit too often, your close relationship will fall apart. Everybody is nice
if you don't need others favor. You would not care the alcohol price if you
