is somewhat icy. And the expensive premium sport tires wear out really fast
because of all the sand / pebbles they spray onto the road on snow days in
the winter.
So I drive RX400H now for family travel, and MB C280 4Matic for personal
driving. Both drive really well in snow / wet condition. (I think 4matic is

Way too many people over the weekend. Poor snow quality - icy or slushy.
We went there once and hated it. Crystal is so so much better. Nice snow,
less people and beautiful view. BIG parking lot as well.
We love crystal! We had never bought season pass though but if you are
interested it is cheaper now.

icy on several runs.
Basicly Snoqualmie weather is too warm because of low elevation. The snow on
the surface would melt and turn into ice quickly.
Thats why ppl asking if there is new snow there, otherwise wont be fun
compare to stevens. |

今天去了一天，坐了二十多个lifts。一个字：太爽了。
Silver Fir。雪有点icy,但不严重。一般技术可以应付。主要是人少。早上阳光明媚。
傍晚一轮明月映在对面的两个大山上，借着余晖，从柔色渐渐转成银色。真体会到一种
永恒。
就是三点半就关了。再转Central，也很好。
我的建议，非要新雪的可以等。但不必等的不要再等。 |

我这四五年每年都会去爬一次，几乎每次team里都有人会害怕。
另外那个地方是不能fall的，一旦fall了比较危险，
如果team arrest不住，下面就是冒烟的crater，
所以完全没经验的还是不要带上去，不然到时候压力可能比较大。
不过你自己是不会有什么问题的，上下都没问题。

而且那一段非常icy，又暴露，下山的时候天早亮了，看得害怕很正常。
另外你不能以你的看法去衡量新手的感觉，人和人不同，对陡的反应
不一样啊，就算是panaroma point也有人怕的。

缺点就是比较icy，trail比较boring。

so I dont think you need reservation. However, there is only one company can
do snowmobiling inside the park, if you want to do that, you better reserve
in advance.
The road to Jackson hole is not bad, some icy patches on the road, just
drive carefully. But if you encounter bad weather, the road could be closed. |

But I would think most trails in the parks are hike-able, as long as it is
not snowing. There might be some icy part in the shade, but if you pay
enough attention, it should not be a problem.
With snow as a contrast, parks like Arches, Bryce, Canyonland, etc are much
prettier in my opinion. |

But most of the roads, especially the ones bound to highlight points are
snowy and maybe icy. Only few roads are closed. If you drive four-wheel-
drive high clearance vehicle, you can still literally get to all the places
of interests. Hiking on snowy trails is a lot of fun.

1.限速是严格限速，没有理由可以超速。
2.“follow traffic is safter”的说法不对。要求不能跟着超速的车开。

、没等汗干就直接上路了，并开着空调。开到 I-270 过了一段上觉着不对劲，撑到路
边停了下来，打好紧急灯。还在抽着起劲呢，一辆 pickup 在前面停下来，倒车过来。
车牌上写着 USMC。我心狂喜，得救啦！
他本来一定以为是我的车坏了。我告诉他是我自己抽筋，他就不知道该怎么办了。我就
撑着下车挪到后面地上坐下来，告诉他怎么踩我的脚。好了一些，但还是又僵又疼，一
波一波的。
他就回车去拿了两个大盒子来。先是递给我一管药膏，我一看是 pain reliver，就说
谢了，不用。他还挺坚持，我就擦了些，半信半疑的。
然后他又拿来“红”药水和棉花棒，说是看到我胳膊上的伤了。我说我是想等到有水的
地方先冲冲再说。他说有这个就不用了。
刚到擦完的功夫，腿上已经好了，一点儿也不疼了，凉凉的感觉。真有点儿不相信，起
来试试，都能跳了。我喜出望外，捡起药膏看是什么。在此推荐一下，Icy Hot Cream

加国“动人”之行
08年的春节，有机会体验了一下美丽“动人”的加拿大。当时想记录一下却迄今也没下
笔。渥太华版的成立，看着诸多的征文，勾起了我的回忆，也凑个热闹写写吧,写哪儿算
哪儿好了。

08年的春节，有机会体验了一下美丽“动人”的加拿大。
陪了单位的领导一名，同事两个，加上我共计4个人，以访问公务为由，在2月6号除夕的
那天，终于拿到了加国公务签证，并顺利乘上了飞往温哥华转机再到多伦多的飞机。记
不清具体的行程了，印象中是多伦多，蒙特利尔，魁北克，最后一天是渥太华的公务访
问。
飞机上和机场看到的素裹加国大地：
机场的雪景：
顺利从温哥华转机，坐到了飞往多伦多的飞机上都很顺利，按计划，晚上就能到达多伦
多，在导游定好的房间里入住休息。然而，预想不到的事情发生了。
大雪纷飞，飞机到达了多伦多却无法着陆，在天空中不断徘徊，徘徊了一个多小时之后
依旧无法着陆，最后，飞机不得不掉头飞向了渥太华。
从飞机上下来，我们一行人都有些精疲力竭了。期待着机场人员能给找个住的地方却发
现压根没人管，看看时间，已 |
