这个历来众说纷纭。俺们因为受中国教育的缘故，所以特信仰其中一个说法。
觉得其它解释都是异端。
说法有哪些呢？最早是两种，一种是革命派的，就是人种压迫，是入侵的法兰克人
也就是封建贵族，压迫原住民高卢-罗马人，也就是第三等级，
现在要民族起义，驱逐鞑虏，恢复法华。革命高潮期以后，解释就是暴政和
人民的千年冲突，现在人权胜了，人民胜了。王党那边的解释，是共济会阴谋论，
后来是哲学家阴谋论，然后是贵族反叛阴谋论，反正就是坏人阴谋论。
后来米涅第一个指出，是阶级斗争。马克思派如获至宝
套进了自己的历史解释体系里面去，就是资产阶级反对封建贵族
然后小资产阶级又反对大资产阶级
苏联东欧和中国就不必说了
法国近现代主流的历史解释，是左派，也大体是按照这个思路走的
索布尔，马蒂厄，奥拉尔，等等等等
后来，从英美开始，然后包括法国革命史学家内部
都慢慢对这个传统解释厌倦了，质疑了
现在的研究，并没有提出系统的理论来代替传统的阶级夺权论
